I purchased this bag in December of 2010. LV used better quality paper for their receipts and way nicer envelopes. I also preferred the brown boxes with brown leather ribbon. I kept all of those too lol.

Omg thank you so much! I would have never known to look there! I've been digging at the seams trying to look for a tag lol I just looked and the date code is very faint but I see at 182 at the end so she's 11
Oh wow! I only started to collect in 2018 so I've only known orange boxes lol the old packaging is way better in my opinion. May I ask what you've done to clean the bag and prevent it from getting "sticky" or faded?
Mine actually came with a soft cleaning cloth. But I have cleaned it with soap and water and then dry it with that cloth. And even scuffs at the bottom have come off. I posted a picture of my bag on this thresd so you can see

Also the dust bags were much nicer and thicker.
Agree @MaggyH. Everything was better quality. The dustbags were made in Italy. Now they are made in India.
Is this normal for Alma Neo? Color peeling off on corners, handles and on several places on the surface. It started out with small peeling on corners after the second use and is only getting worse. It feels as if I could peel the whole color off if I wanted to. I have contacted LV three times, including when first noticed, but did not receive any help as there is no LV store in my country and bag needs to be handed in in person. During a trip to Amsterdam, I had a care specialist look at it and she said she had to send it to Paris for inspection. But there was no flexibility in terms of pick up locations. The bag needs to be picked up at the same location where handed in. I asked if a family member could pick it up in Paris after inspection, but that was not possible. So I did not send it away and have only used it a maximum of 7-8 times. The peeling is just too noticable and it looks like a cheap bag. The peeling is from normal wear on my shoulder, I always take very good care of my bags. Any advice is welcomed on how to proceed, as right now I am stuck with a bag that is only sitting in a dust bag in my closet, because I am ashamed of using it. I don't think this should be happening after such a short time when you pay for premium quality.
Hi @Spaladina. I never owned this bag, but I had a Vosges MM in empreinte leather.with the same folded corners. And yes, the corners were scuffed because unfortunately when carrried it bumped into things. I ended up selling it.
Hi! I'm not sure where to ask this question but I'm looking at some preloved Alma bags and I can't seem to figure out the sizing - some GM's are being listed as 17.5 inches wide and some 15.5 inches... (both are vernis). I was looking for large for travel but I can't find very much info. Do you know if they were ever 17.5 inches? I'm wondering if the seller listed it wrong or if I'm just confused.
