I called my nearest Boutique in Houston last year just to inquire regarding replacing the plate on the Eva Damier Ebene and I was told $100 but perhaps the SA was just guessing an amount? In hindsight $100 kind of sounds pricey but then again maybe not.

I was inquiring of them mainly for future reference as my plate has some wear but it's still very decent.

I called the LV customer service # and was connected to my local store. They let me order a replacement strap even though there was no record of an Eva purchase in the system. It's worth a shot.
Edited to Add: Per the SA, it would take a couple of weeks - but it ended up taking a couple of months to come in from France. I also had to call a couple of times to check on it. I wasn't charged until I picked it up though. :heart:

I'm in! I've had my Eva for about 3 years and it's one of my favorite bags. I love its versatility! I was wondering if y'all would be willing to give me some advice. In the wake of the bag possibly being discontinued, would it be crazy for me to by another one as a backup? Have any of you ever done this and were there any regrets? IMG_1266.jpg

That sounds like something I would do! But considering that the price is not cheap, maybe you could hold off to see if something is introduced that you like as much or better OR since you are familiar with the look and details of the Eva maybe you would be confident enough to try buying a preloved one as a backup ad save a bit of money? However I also think your current Eva will hold up nicely for many many years and you will not need a backup so quickly. You could also try a different print. Just my 2 cents worth of advice.

Thanks so much for the advice. My Eva is holding up incredibly well and I'm pretty sure she's got plenty of miles left :0) I think I'm just overreacting to the idea that the bag is being discontinued and now I'm kind of in panic mode. I keep thinking "what if something happens to my bag...how will I get a replacement?" LOL!!!

I have a "will pick up sometime list" too (so glad I'm not the only one LOL!!) and this is the second time it's worked to my disadvantage. I waited on the Pochette Metis and didn't jump on it before it was discontinued the first time. I got lucky that they re-issued the bag and that I got my hands on one last month. I just always assumed that the Eva would be in their permanent collection! I can't believe I missed out :0(

SA told me that the Pallas clutch is the replacement for Eva.... I was just chocked that they are pulling her because she is so popular. I don't like the Pallas clutch for a couple of reasons 1. Too small 2. Pricey for what it is 3. Don't like any of the colors mixed with mono..... and 4. there are no options for azur or de
I'm hoping my elady Eva looks good when I get her....

I heard there are coming new crossbody bags as a replacement for the eva

thats really weird that they say this as the pallas clutch is not new ...then they could also say the favorite is the replacememt ..my SA told me they will get newer bags as a replacement like they did with speedy empreinte and totally so let's see what will happen :) i hope there are coming new ones

I'm totally with you! I never would've thought they would pull the Eva due to how popular she is. The Pallas is very cute IMO, but I definitely feel like it's too pricey for what it is.I don't necessarily feel like it's a suitable replacement when you consider the price difference. I think the price point for the Eva is one of its biggest selling points. I hope your elady bag is amazing!!!

I have a feeling the price point might be the reason they are discontinuing the Eva. It is a fairly good value for someone who wants a nice LV bag without spending a lot of money, along with the versatility of the bag and the fact that it comes in all three canvasses. My theory is that they will eventually replace it with something very similar...at a much higher price point. If that happens, I will be very disappointed.
