I haven't done a thing to my vachetta. First time I used it it started raining too but there were no spots or anything after it dried. I figure that's the bonus (other than price) of buying vachetta pieces pre-loved [emoji6] Mine must have just enough patina to make it fairly stress free.Thank u! I am in half a mind on selling my strap, i think i wld use it but not as often as i need to wear my baby around in carrier a lot.. let me know how the mcraft leather strap works out n show some modelling pics if u get it! How are you conditioning or maintaining the vachetta?

I'm happy for this thread, otherwise I might not have known it was going to be discontinued until it was too late. It is the perfect carefree bag and at a great price point. I can't wait to take her out this weekend!

Thank you!!! I am so in love with both of them! The Melie is perfect for work to weekend, a great replacement for my old luminuese. I love the black empreinte with gold zippers. And now I have the perfect grab and go with the Eva!

I cant make up my mind , whether the eva mono looks better with a honey brown patina or the lighter pre-patina or light medium patina..

As soon as I read they were discontinued I listed my two Eva's on EBay Aus. I must be in the minority's.
I had a Tivoli and once it was discontinued I couldn't get near enough of it worth. I know I am taking the risk. I feel it's better to sell now.

Looks like it's "call for availability" on the Canadian sire now. I'm glad I got my order in.
Congrats! Me too. I picked up a damier ebene one from the store. The monogram and azure Evas are "call for availability" on the US site.
The combination of its functionality, zipper, long strap, and price point can't be beat. I don't know of anything else comparable from LV. There is the pallas clutch but I think it's too small and expensive for what it is.
I think I just bought the last DE Eva from US website. After I placed the order, the status became "call for availability". Can't wait to see her next week. I have been loving Eva for almost two years, but everytime when I went to LV boutique to buy it, I ended up buying something else. Even last week, I went to my local store, my SA said he hadn't heard that Eva is being discontinued. Thank you to all girls and ladies on TPF for sharing the up-to-date news, otherwise I would be very regretful for not buying Eva in time.
