I had an ebene eva 2 years ago and sold her bc I could see where the canvas was starting to split near the opening. Fast forward, I bought another eva this year in mono and noticed the same issue when I was about to use her for the first time. Does anyone with an older eva have similar experiences? I thought I'd found my perfect bag since I don't carry much but after the second go round and seeing the same issue on a bag that I hadn't even used yet, I just stuck with the trusty speedy 25.

I'd like to know this too. As for me I've had my Eva de for about 3years and I just noticed it has what looks to be the start of a tear near the zipper opening. Since finding that I'm not gonna lean towards using it of fear it'll get worst.

I'm not sure if this is same thing

I bought a preloved 2012 Eva recently and also saw some leather came off on the leather tab. The MIF tab was perfect. I am referring to the other side.

Also noticed the colour of the ring to clip the strap was discolouring. So it was very light gold.

I did love how to canvas held up so well though! It looked brand new

I later sold 1-2 weeks it for other reasons (sensitive to fragrance).The new owner loves it

do any eva experts know... did the inventeur plate ever appear on the monogram eva? i've seen a few online - mostly showing year 06 - but wonder if they're fake since a majority of the monograms have the smaller LV logo. i prefer the inventeur plate and would get one preloved if it ever came in that combo. anyone know??

Eva is on her way to me from Illinois (im in CA) Ebay purchase. seller said "mint condition" We shall see, finger crossed. The photos looked good but you never know. (I purchased one earlier this month off ebay and it was used up, I opened a case and sent it back for refund. Im so tired of dishonest sellers)
