I got my mono eva in 2012 and I have the same issue of the tab splitting. I bought it to my LV store and they told me it will cost $75 to repair it. They won't do it for free since it's over 2 yrs. they consider a wear and tear issue. :-(

I got mine in the beginning of 2013 and it happened very soon after but thought it was normal. Oh well.....I'll live with it but good to know the price for repair if I ever to decide to fix it. Thanks :smile1:

I have a few questions about the Eva - hope it's OK to post here (I am a new member and can't start a new thread):
1. Will it fit the newer/larger phones (like the iPhone 6 plus)?
2. Will it fit a passport?
3. Does it look awkward (i.e too long) on someone short (5 ft 0 inches)?
4. Will it look silly on a forty something person (as you can tell from my screen name, I am forty something :))
5. I saw this youtube video where the lady shortened the handle using this clever tip. Will this damage the purse/handle?

Hi! I'm new too! I got my Eva at the end of 2014. I'm 5' 2". I think the length will be just fine & you are still age-appropriate. Not sure about "techniques" for fear of damaging the purse in the future. Yes, a passport fits with room to spare! I don't have the larger iPhone 6 but I believe it would fit as well.

iPhone 6 fits no problem! I use a zippy coin purse, cles, iPhone, hand wipes and tissues and it all fits just fine :) enjoy it! One of my favorite pieces

I have the Eva and an iPhone 6+ and yes, it fits. I'm sorry I can't help with the passport as I just renewed mine and don't have it yet.

I'm 5'3" and the bag hits below my waist which I had to get used to because I like my crossbody bags right at my waist.

It's not the strap that's long, it's because of the zipper part that is long so when we hook the strap it makes it seem long.

I hope that made sense. I compared the strap to my alma bb one and they were of similar length.

Also I have tried to shorten the strap like that and it's great to use as a shoulder bag, but when u open and close the bag it gets in the way when you're reaching for items.

It might be a little too short to use as a crossbody like that as well.

This is my first LV bag in Ebene :-) i love this style because it gives you freedom to choose if you will wear it as a shoulder bag or a hand bag. I always bring it whenever I go abroad because you'll never know if you will need a handbag or a shoulder bag. Saves me space in my luggage because this bag is sooo versatile :-)

I just purchased a mono eva, after stalking her for 2 years!!! I am over the moon!

Any suggestions for a slim way to carry cash unfolded (long and flat) with cards and coins, other than a full sized zippy? I like the idea of using my eva like a WOC but don't want to add bulk with a big zippy wallet.
