My latest dumb reason: OMG, how did I not know about this brand? I must have a bag just so I can know for sure it’s a good…. Oh FORGET IT. I’m buying the bag, I don’t CARE if I have no idea. Look at it! It’s gorgeous! Who knew!

I can't tell you how many times over the years where I've snatched something up because it was SUDDENLY AVAILABLE again. I mean, I thought I was fine with the loss and I'm just browsing around and OH MY THERE IT IS CLICK BOOM it's mine.

Same here. But I "justify" it because when an item is no longer available I tell myself, "It wasn't meant to be." So....if it returns doesn't that mean "It was meant to be"?

But it's so true! Yesterday I passed on a bag on Poshmark. I fully convinced myself I didn't need it, it probably wouldn't be a good every day bag, and the money could be better spent or go in my savings account. A couple of hours later my DD Zelle's me money because I overpaid on something and my first thought was, GET THE BAG!!! But I "stayed strong". (So far.)
I justified getting a Gucci bag the other day for 2 reasons: It was more "work-appropriate" and because I have a Gucci belt but didn't have a bag that matched it exactly (Black/Gold Hardware). I had Black/Silver Hardware and Navy/Gold Hardware bags but no Black with Gold
...Which lead me to purchase prescription glasses that had the same horsebit detailing as my bag.

there's only one in the world like this, and if it gets sold, I'll never be able to find one again.
So I purchased it immediately, and when reality set in, I realized that the bag was made out of real crocodile skin. And I DO NOT like genuine reptile skin!

Don't beat yourself up about it. At least your can return it, right? (But I'm very curious about this bag. Details please?) In the meantime you can console yourself by buying something you know you'll love.
Late night shopping won this morning around 2:00am (about 35 minutes ago). I was "this" close to turning off my laptop but I said one more search, and that's when I lost. Poshmark purchase (not the bag I was looking at the other day). You'll love this part. (Are you sitting down?) It's.....YELLOW! I Know! You know how I'm always talking about wanting a yellow bag for the Spring/Summer? Well I'm hoping this Aimee Kestenberg CBB will be my occasional switch from red. Now I really should turn off my laptop!
