I love your Alma. It’s wonderful. I have a blue one with signs and I love it. But this one is so beautiful.

I just got an Alma BB from the store (first luxury bag) and I’m noticing the hardware isn’t perfectly smooth. Especially the gold hardware on the handle and the zippers. Is this normal for LV? It looks like tiny scratches all over. The leather and overall bag itself looks okay and there is slight gathering on the inside of the handle. I don’t wanna exchange because it’s so hard to find but should I?

The handle looks really good imo, but the hardware would bother me for a new bag.
Maybe LV could replace just the hardware?
The zipper pulls are really easy to replace.

Handle and double thread pictures look nice, clean...hardware does not look good for being a new bag though.. maybe bring them in the store to see what they say.

The Alma BB wasn’t on my radar but after looking through all of the available DE options, it was the one that stood out the most. I contacted my SA last week to let me know if he ever gets one in and he told me they actually had some in stock! I wasn’t able to go in until today and they had at least one still there. I did a quick inspection and all looked good. Side zipper length looked ok and Made in France! I’ll look at it closer tonight when I get home from work. They also had a PM which was similar size to my Graceful PM so I didn’t want another bigger purse. Plus it didn’t come with a strap.

My empreinte Alma bb had a defect. I exchanged it for epi quartz, doesn’t feel juvenile at all to me. The colour is SO pretty & unique!

I’ve had quite a few Alma bbs over the years. As long as it isn’t warped it should be fine!

It seems fine, there are others tiny things that I found, I contacted LV to let me know if they get another one so I can compare and decide to keep mine or not.
I will attach photos of the other things, like the handles being at different level, the vachetta being not cut as straight.
I love the bag and like a lot of us, I am scared to run in worse ones.
