The cute ALMA BB club!

Finally purchased alma bb after months of stalking. It’s beautiful! I’m 4’10” and the strap is slightly long. I don’t want to buy another strap, so I had to be creative.

You can try to bring it in to shorten the strap. I did mine last year but as the strap will be taken in as a repair, it will take a few weeks . They allow shortening by 10cm if I remember correctly.

Ladies, please help me with your wisdom. Eyeing and Épi Alma BB lately, and went to our local store a few times to try them on, check them out. I could try them, but couldn't speak to any of the black belt SAs, who could really help with this.
I was only checking the Épi ones, the new batch with the guitar straps and some classics like Coquelicot and Noir.
The thing is, on the inside, the bottom of the bag was wavy, bumpy. I know that it cannot truly stay flush, since it is the same construction as a Noé bottom, but on my large Noé the "pillowness" of the bottom is evened out, since it is very big, but in almost all of these Almas I saw it was very bumpy. I could push the bumps left and rigth with my fingers and they stayed there.
Is this how Alma bottoms are? If this is usual and this is how they are made, I will calm down and won't try to find a perfectly flat one.

I've seen in this thread that quite a few Almas had issues with wavy lining, but those were on the side panels. These ones only did that if I opened the bags very much, but they looked normal generally. They only showed this on the bottom.

My epi Alma BB with jacquard strap (black colorama) is perfect inside and out. No bumpiness, no lining issues inside. Made in France. Maybe I got lucky?

I have a DE, an epi, and a limited epi. They are all older and they all have inside bottoms that are bumpy, I suppose.
I didn't even notice they were bumpy until I read several posts here.
I currently have a small felt fabric on the bottom to protect from stains, so I don't even see the inside bottom of the bag.
When I was purchasing my Almas, I was more concerned about the handles, the overall symmetry, and the alignment of the squares of the DE.

Thank you. Very helpful, I won't worry that much about the bottoms then. It didn't really bother me to be honest, more like it was a little surprising and made me unsure if it is the general construction or just those particular pieces I tried.

BB owners, do you have a liner/organizer you are using? It’s very small already so I’m looking for something to protect the inside but relatively thin (not felt).
I just put everything in my pouches, so I don't use an organizer. When I use my DE Alma BB, I use a drawstring dust bag to hold my lighter colored SLGs so I don't get any color transfer from the red lining.
Sometimes, depending on what SLGs I use, I just dump everything into a small toiletry bag from airplanes.
