Thank you! It's just so confusing to me. I was surprised to find that the MAM I bought last year is now $100 less.

Years ago, Nordstrom would give money back. But last time I had an issue with a Gryson bag (this was a few years ago too) they said they would send it to their repair person - no refund. It may partly depend on how long you've had the bag but I'm sure they will do something for you.

If it were me, I'd go right to Nordstrom. They always stand behind their products, even a year or two later. Whereas I have been very unimpressed by RM's customer service. I've sent them a couple of emails with questions... NOT complaints, just questions... and I have never received a reply. If that's the way they are with just an innocuous email, I can imagine how they would be with a complaint!

I'm guessing Nordstrom will just give you a brand new bag (same color, hopefully they still have it!) and that will be the end of it. Good luck getting this resolved... keep us posted!

I totally adore the Cupid!! Especially with its many compartments and the design. Here is mine in Midnight! I scored it off the RM website when it was on sale.

Bought my first cupid in freesia from Marshall s the other day for 99 bucks. I couldn't believe the price. When the cupid first came out I didn't really give it a second look over my mams plus the talk of hardwear issues really put me off. But now that I have one in hand it's actually growing on me. I think i might need it in hunter green

My coral Cupid from 2012 has no issues thus far, hardware is still firmly attached and the leather is wonderful.
