but the leather varies from season to season
it's also partly a matter of preference. some leather is glazed, some is more matte. From the photo, it looks like yours will be regular matte leather.
Just got this wine Cupid with silver HW. I'd been wanting a Cupid in a neutral winter color with silver HW and the outside zipper on the back side. I was having trouble finding one in black or brown. I spotted this one at Off 5th and decided to bring it home.

I was just looking at the chocolate cupid in this thread and asking myself if I should have held out for chocolate. But I haven't seen that color IRL and they're hard to find. Actually finding any color with the outside zipper on the back is kind of a challenge.
I miss my cupid I can't remember why I sold it now I am thinking of getting another one but I want it to have additional back zipper pocket.
Oooh - that is gorgeous - wine is a great neutral, yet much more distinctive than brown. I have seen brown/silver once, with the back zip, but it was on Amazon and OVER MSRP. Congratulations on your find. Gorgeous bag + great deal = winning!

the color is more red IRL than my pics show.....looks kind of cranberry in daylight, but it is quite neutral and I wear a lot of black so this works fine with that
so did your cupid's leather soften?I have a wine cupid and it's quite a bit darker than the color the bag looks in the picture above. Sorry, I don't know about the other colors.
I got my cupid at the Saks off 5th in Oahu. It was on Black Friday and it was worth fighting the crowds as I ended up getting it for more than 50% off! And no defects to speak of!
I've been looking at the pictures of the cupids on this thread and I noticed that mine is more structured/stiff than the ones I'm seeing. I'm hoping it just needs to be broken in as I like the softer, less stiff look a little more
I think mine is the same as yours - Wine color, smooth leather with dot lining
It's stiffer than my other cupid which is the glazed distressed leather
Can someone please tell me if the Cupid comes in one size or several sizes? I've been looking on various websites and all have different measurements. Also if someone could provide me with measurements at the longest, widest and highest part of the bag that would be great! Thanks!
