Hi everyone! I'm absolutely in love with the Cupid (eyelet, eggplant and taupe...can't decide which!) but am hoping to use it for school. The dimensions I've found from various retailers and the RM website are all different, so I was wondering if anyone knew how big the bag is across the zipper?
Really what I wanna know is if I can fit my laptop in (it's just under 13 inches wide, ~9 inches in length). Thanks

Would a Desire perhaps be a better choice then?
Prob wouldn't want to put a laptop in a Cupid regardless (unless its ultra light weight) just based on past HW issues. I fill mine very full now but try to be mindful of its intended design.
That makes sense...haha y'all are probably laughing at me, aw. I only have one RM so I wasn't sure about the "sturdiness" (for my purposes) of them. I used an MK for over a year for school that definitely wasn't a laptop bag by any means and it held up wonderfully...so I hadn't even considered! Oops

As others have said, you can't fit a 13" Macbook into the cupid because the opening is too narrow. You can, however, fit one of those 11" netbooks (not sure about an 11-inch macbook air, never tried), so long as you do it without the neoprene case.
The Cupid is not a practical bag for school or work if you want it to be the only bag you carry. You also can't fit papers into it if they are in a folder of any sort. When I carry my Cupid for work, I use a separate briefcase/messenger bag for my laptop.

I have accumulated quite a collection of Cupids but I think I have found my favorite. The leather on this Eyelet Cupid is like butter, so smooth and supple. My disappointment with the bag is that unlike the picture on RM's website, it has no back pocket. Other than that this bag is perfection!
