oh and thickness wise it was good, a little on the thin side. it has the blue polka dot lining inside and those bags have thinner leather. i did not like how shiny it was also. very shiny bag.

Hmm... not a fan of shiny. Or the easy to see scratches aspect. I'm not exactly the most gentle on my bags. That's probably why I love my black MAB so much.

Good idea. Have you seen the eggplant color? Is it flat and shiny like the pale grey?

i havent seen it in real life, just pictures- looks shiny and glazed to me, its pretty though, glazed might not be bad
I saw the eggplant in a boutique as well; it is def. glazed leather and not pebbly at all.
Also, I think the straps have been changed! They have the buckle now instead of the rolling adjusting strap which, IMO, is lame. They don't look nearly as long as they did before and I love longer crossbody straps.

Thanks! I'll be sure to post pics when the eyelet Cupid arrives. Years ago I had an almond leather MAC and the leather was really stiff; this new almond looks much nicer.
I had the lavender and sold it not too long after I got it which was OSS holiday 2010 (if my memory serves me right) -- I got 3 during that sale and 2 of the 3 had hardware issues, this was one of them. Most likely it was a one off but I was not pleased at all with the bag. I did love the color but the lack of function overpowered the look. It's what turned me off of Cupids entirely until this year and now I love them again.

Hmm ok, thanks for advice... yea, and luggage is similar leather to Dusty Lilac, also that glazed, thin leather. If only the RM exclusive Cupid was on sale! lol
Yea, I didn't like the style when it debuted last year, but its growing on me (grrr TPF), but I'd only want it in a luxe, thick, chewy leather, which RM unfortunately doesn't make much anymore...
