Ugh I hate how the handles looks in this bag. I mean it's great because you can wear it over your shoulder, but I would have preferred the old way like on the Stefanibags stock picture. I'm definitely passing on this style. =( I love the distressed teal, though. Tempted to get something in that leather...

I cancelled my pre-order for a lavender Cupid at LB. I just bought a Miu Miu Bow in Mughetto and it is a light lavender, so I didn't want two of the (nearly) same colors. If anyone wants to pre-order a lavender from LB it may be available now.
I have a feeling this season's Lavender is going to be pretty dark, at least according to that old stock picture we saw a few months back on Aster Alice's FB. I hope I'm wrong, though. And I hope it looks prettier when better (and clearer) stock pictures pop up this summer. I'm so anxious to see all these bags in Lavender!! I'm kinda mad that there's no clear stock pictures of this color yet. Feh. Two more months!
This is what Caitlin at LB told me about the lavender color: "The lavender is a true purple, very pale with cool undertones"

And hey, did you see the Metallic Taupe MAC on Amazon? They finally put pics up. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! Remember the stock picture on SB? The color is super accurate, but now we can get a better shot of the shimmer. It is beautiful! The Cupid is going to look AMAZING in this leather. OMG.

Can't wait to see pics of your MT Cupid, Avalon!! I'm still on a fence over this style so a reveal would be so helpful. Cupid in MT is going to be drop dead gorgeous! I just know it!

LINDA, I totally agree with you on the hardware!! I'm not crazy about the dull antique silver + the pale gold shimmer leather on this MAC style (but on the Cupid it looks good since it gives the bag a rocker-chic vibe to it
). The MAC could have a more dressier look if it werent for hw. I know RM wanted to change it up a bit,but this combo doesn't do it for me either. I'm still planning on getting the mini MAC though, hopefully it won't look so bad IRL.

I've taken a sabbatical from RM lately, but I'm 99% sure this will be my next RM purchase. Considering Gray, Metallic Taupe or Lavender, but definitely waiting until I see more pics to decide. If only Teal had silver hardware, I'd be all over it!
I'm on a sabbatical also and I agree - this bag may bring me back. I also second the silver (or even gunmetal) hardware idea. I'm waiting to see the later production Cupids.
