A belated congrats to both your bags! I totally understand your original dilemma and then keeping both. This happens to be all the time: first I try to choose 1 colour over another so that I have more options (i.e. not 8 brown bags let's say, or not 4 bags all in same design) but inevitably I just want the both or ALL. I do try to avoid getting the same bag in more than one colour but sigh...I am guilty of this.

Speaking of which, it was the saddle/tan Cupid satchel that caught my eye today. The teal & lavender are in stock too. Now I notice that the leather on the lavender is softer, tad finer, distressed and overall, the bag is lighter. The saddle/tan Cupid is almost *almost* pebbled leather, is heavier and the gold hardware is maybe, just maybe a little too shiny for me? So I could get the lavender instead of the saddle/tan but who am I kidding? I really will find an excuse to buy both. Then again, my latest wish list is full of saddle/tan/tobacco coloured bags!? What's girl to do?
I have never seen the tan/saddle Cupid (probably good for my wallet). I ended up returning the red and keeping the lavender. And now I just bought the anthracite puzzle Cupid from the RM sale!! Plus I have the raspberry on order. I haven't carrried the lavender yet so I may just wait to see if the raspberry is similar in color. Since I bought the lavender at Endless I can always return it! I regularly carry the navy and teal Cupids and really don't tire of these bags.

Hi there! Yea, it's the weirdest thing when this happens (other brands too) when I've SEEN a real bag irl but cannot find it online anywhere! Then, when I email the brand, the CS staff cannot even help me.

Yup, I have googled the cupid satchel in tan/caramel/saddle/almond/tobacco/whiskey...it's not coming up but it's here...it's very very nice...classic colour, of course. The leather on the lavender & teal is a bit finer, thinner and more distressed so the overall bag is lighter in weight. The tan bag is almost, *almost* pebbled but not really if that makes any sense.

Oh my gosh! That sounds amazing! *Urg. Must resist temptation to become obsessive about this bag.*

Uh oh, I have visions of going from 0 Cupid satchels to 2 (tan & lavender). I can tell it's a great bag to carry! Must resist some-thing...been on recent spree already...must pace myself.

^^ I had both and returned the red. The teal is a teal BLUE not green and the red is not a deep red but more of a bright red with some orange tones in it. The leathers are about the same; both distressed with a little shine. You can't go wrong with either; just pick the color that best goes with your wardrobe.

I'm so undecided, now I'm looking at the hardware thinking is it too flashy :P

It's such a personal thing but I find the matte leather colours are *nicer* for this bag. (Ok, I've only seen Tan & Lavender which are matte).

I've only seen the Teal irl and not the Red but from what I can tell and from what I've read, these have a shinier finish. That, combined with bright gold hard ware starts to get a bit flashy for ME...it IS a pretty bag in ALL colours, I honestly think so but yes...I'd rather have it slightly subdued because it's a substantial size for a satchel...not massive but ykwim?

Personally, I like brushed gold, matte gold or just subtle gold hardware over bright shiny gold...it's still a gorgeous bag in any colour and in any leather though.

Even in Tan, I was starting to wonder if the brushed but bright gold hard ware was bit too *gold* for me but I'm on the fence now. I've also fallen for the Lavender but am waiting on Cement or Raspberry (just in case).

I just was at the mall (King of Prussia, outside of Philadelphia) and Nordstroms had the new Mini MAC and Brynn in the Raspberry color, the same shade the Cupid can be pre-ordered in. Raspberry is a shade of Plum with reddish-black undertones.... or if you think of the darkest purple shade that you could see in a Raspberry fruit, it's that color. The photos on Saks make it look like it's a dark burgandy-pink, and I just wanted to clarify that it's more purply than burgandy. Gold hardware looks REALLY nice with those bags.

Was the raspberry leather distressed and a little shiny?
