The bag was $272 in the OSS (SORRY! I know that hurts)....maybe there will be another sale in a few months !? The chocolate is a medium brown, kindof saddle or a dark tan with honey undertones. I think the picts above are pretty true-to-color and I would guess that it is what you are seeing.

I purse-stalked this bag for quite some time, and as I said above I have seen ALL of the available colors in person (now except lavender). The only other brownish tone available is 'taupe', as shown below. Hope that helps.

IRL it is dark charcoal gray/black with taupe and silver flecks. It has a bit of a distressed finish. It is very different from my other bags. I like it a lot.

Hi Robinn

I just got my cupid in chocolate color today, just like your... just in your opinion is it suppose to look like it's used and distress? because mine has light scratches here and there... and the sales associate told me it suppose to look like that! I love this bag and i dont want to return it! just concern about the scratches might become worse...

The chocolate is soooo pretty!!! Love it. I got my red and my metallic taupe yesterday....I'll definitely be selling the taupe but I think I'm going to keep the red in addition to the violet (which I haven't put down since I got it). The red color isn't nearly as orange as I was afraid it would be after reading others posts. I don't love the gold toned hardware but for me the bag fits perfectly over the shoulder with the handles (probably won't with a sweater or a jacket) and pretty much the only color bag I don't have already is red.

Thank you Robinn! Yes, I think the cupid in question is *chocolate* here in our local Holts store. It is not taupe at all.

I really ought to wait because I already have so many pretty bags in my collection. We have lavender & teal in stock too but at these prices...ugh! Due to my addiction to bags, I really ought to buy when there's a sale or promo...even a tiny promo helps.

Patzzivi.... My bag has a couple of small marks on it, and I suspect the leather may end up picking up marks and having a distressed/worn look over time. I think i'm OK with that look, or at least willing to give it a try and see how it wears over the next 2-3 months. Since it was a sale price, I dont mind giving it a shot.

Hey! Congrats on your new bag. I hope you kept her. Your description about the colour sounds really pretty but I have not seen it irl. It's still very neutral even if it's got a warm undertone instead of cool. I think it would go with umpteen outfits :D
