1st post. OMG. >.<
I've been lurking here forever, even before I made an account and continued lurking after making one...
TPF made me aware of RM and now I think I'm almost ready to get my hands on my first RM bag, and that would be a CUPID, in navy!
Sites carrying navy: Stefanibags + $25 USPS shipping, RM + free UPS shipping.
What I'm afraid of is customs/duty/brokerage fees. Has anyone in Canada ordered online (from these sites or other ones) and encountered a lot of duty fees?

Oh yeah! Remembered another question I had -

I was in my car backing out of a parking spot today when the lady in the car next to me got out with a Cupid! I was so freaking excited it was stupid. I almost jumped out to talk to her about it, but I thought that would've looked weird.:p (If I had run into her in the store, though....) Anyway, it looked like a tan/camel/saddle color. I've never seen one in that color online. Does that exist? Or is the "chocolate" color light enough that it could have been that? (Or, it just occurred to me, could it have been MT? It definitely didn't look metallic from a few feet away, though.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Gee, the RM cupid satchel only caught my eye today as Holts has tan, teal & lavender in stock. I wish I could find another colour other than tan to chase after because this is the 3rd tan satchel that I've fallen for within a 2 week or 3 week period!

Okay, so there IS a tan Cupid? I've never seen one online; I only saw one IRL but didn't know if that's what it was. That sounds stupid. :p I mean, since I haven't seen one online or heard anyone talk about it I wasn't sure exactly what I saw.

Well, I bought both the red and lavender Cupid, fully intending to choose one and return the other...but guess what?? I really want to keep them both. The Cupid is a tad larger than most of my bags excepts my MAM's but lies flatter against the body when carrried. I always carry my bags as shoulder bags to the thin straps don't bother me a bit.
The red leather is so textured and perfectly distressed and the lavender is soft and just a great all around color. So now I need to get some bags listed on Bonanza to fund these 2!!!

A belated congrats to both your bags! I totally understand your original dilemma and then keeping both. This happens to be all the time: first I try to choose 1 colour over another so that I have more options (i.e. not 8 brown bags let's say, or not 4 bags all in same design) but inevitably I just want the both or ALL. I do try to avoid getting the same bag in more than one colour but sigh...I am guilty of this.

Speaking of which, it was the saddle/tan Cupid satchel that caught my eye today. The teal & lavender are in stock too. Now I notice that the leather on the lavender is softer, tad finer, distressed and overall, the bag is lighter. The saddle/tan Cupid is almost *almost* pebbled leather, is heavier and the gold hardware is maybe, just maybe a little too shiny for me? So I could get the lavender instead of the saddle/tan but who am I kidding? I really will find an excuse to buy both. Then again, my latest wish list is full of saddle/tan/tobacco coloured bags!? What's girl to do?

Hi there! Yea, it's the weirdest thing when this happens (other brands too) when I've SEEN a real bag irl but cannot find it online anywhere! Then, when I email the brand, the CS staff cannot even help me.

Yup, I have googled the cupid satchel in tan/caramel/saddle/almond/tobacco/whiskey...it's not coming up but it's here...it's very very nice...classic colour, of course. The leather on the lavender & teal is a bit finer, thinner and more distressed so the overall bag is lighter in weight. The tan bag is almost, *almost* pebbled but not really if that makes any sense.
