I just got it. That is my concern too but it is SOOO PRETTY.
I LOVE this one and it is on my wish list. I have my SAs tracking it--there are still a ton in JAX. I'm hoping it's included in the upcoming PCE, makes it to the summer SAS, or one of the department stores puts it on sale. I don't want to pay full price if I don't have to.

My one worry about getting this particular one is that I have the quilted Bowery from last year and the nappa leather at the top shows wear where you open it. I don't want to pay FP for something that might show wear soon after buying. I've attached a pic--I don't know how well it shows up.

Thanks for sharing this! Personally, I'm less worried about it showing wear than peeling. I just really love the ombre. I have a gift card that would cover the majority of the bags cost at Bloomingdales. I may splurge and purchase it soon. Thx again!

I have a foldover clutch using similar leather, Mine doesn't show crease on the top of flap, no pealing either.
the only problem I notice is the silver strip line, maybe they have to use different dye for these metallic colors, the silver strip has a bit color worn off at the area rob against my hip.
I am OK with that, since the leather good quality and the scratch on the bag can be easily robbed off, which is normally only seen in very good lamb skin.

Both colors are stunning...need help choosing one.

I saw them both in person and they are both nice but to me the grey stood out more. I think it was the contrast of grey silver / gold together. It just looks more dressy to me and stood out as different. Plus it would pair well with either gold or silver jewellery/shoes and works with nearly every colour outfit! I ended up ordering the silver grey snakeskin in the 18.

Hi all - I bought the Coach Parker in metallic/gunmetal awhile back and have not been using it as much as I had hoped. I LOVE the size and style, but I think I'm limiting myself to wearing the bag at night because it's metallic. That's silly isn't it? I mean, this can be a daytime bag, can it not? I would have bought the regular black version of the bag but didn't like it as much with the gold hardware. Thoughts?

This is beautiful! Try it out in the daytime and see how you like it. I think you can wear it anytime.

That is what I thought until I bought the Edie 31 in Metallic Gunmetal. Now I wear it whenever I can, day or night.

Hi! I'm planning on buying the Parker Bag in white (picture attached), but I'm just a little worried about color transfering! Does anyone here have this bag in white or light color and have any issues on have the bag stained?
How do you clean the bag? Thank you!

I was so excited to purchase the black Parker with rivets from the sale. I got it yesterday, and it's so pretty, but I'm on the fence about whether or not to keep it. I love the style and look, and I love how buttery soft the leather is. However, I find it just a tad small. For perspective, my LV Neverfull GM is one of my favorite bags because of how big it is, so I'm definitely a carry everything and the kitchen sink gal. I obviously knew the Parker would be significantly smaller, and I knew I'd had to downsize - it's actually one of the reasons I got it because I've been wanting to try to downsize my stuff a bit. I love my big bags so much, but they really do get quite heavy. Still, I'm having trouble adjusting to this size. It seems a bit smaller than my medium Gucci Marmont and the Coach Faye Carryall.

I just got it last night, so I'm going to give it some more time, but what would you do? I really love the look and style...I just wish it was about an inch bigger!

It's funny - I don't seem to have qualms with mini bags where I have to truly downsize to my bare essentials, and I obviously have no issues with big bags. It's these medium-sized bags that have thrown me for a loop, but it's the medium-sized bags that I want to start carrying and loving!

To give you some perspective, I carry bags on the small end, and the Parker still doesn't work for me. I find it to be an awkward bag because of the separator, the pockets that are too small to hold anything, and the structure of the bag. I tried it, and I just couldn't make it work. I then bought a top handle one thinking that would be better because it doesn't have a separator in it, but it was just as difficult. The space was tight, the pockets don't really hold anything, etc.

So if you aren't feeling it, I would return it while you can. It is a beautiful bag, but it does take some getting used to. I know many love their Parkers, but it isn't for everyone.
