Parker in signature canvas with tea rose turnlock rust/brass

I haven’t bought a Coach since 2005, but started to look at the website after I saw the rogue 21 reviewed on YouTube recently, and I thought it looked so unique and well made. (I also like the look of vintage Coach.) In any rate, I bought this very quickly because it was like the LV pochette metis and LV Favorite mm had a cuter, more affordable baby. The brown leather has such beautiful tone, and the tea rose lock color has such a nice warm shiny glow, and doesn’t look like it will get noticeable scratches like the LV bags. I like the sturdiness and lightness of canvas. The bag and chain are very light, but the bag looks very well made. I like the signature print when it accents the style of the bag, as opposed to overpowering the bag. It makes the bag more versatile and goes well with everything.

When I purchased on the Coach website, it said it would ship I late April, but I received it in less than a week.

I’m 5’2”. It’s a great crossbody length for me. Shorter crossbody bags are in style, so I think it will be good for someone taller as well.

As someone who purchased the jazzier one with the tea rose turnlock, myself, I would recommend that one as its design details are more unexpected and, therefore, more special. I write this as someone who gravitates naturally more toward black handbags as a wardrobe staple. This bag will pop against any black clothing you wear, unlike a purely black bag would.

Good luck with your decision.

I love the one with the mixed print. That is the one I wanted most, but the price tag is higher and I couldn't get it on sale--so I went for one at a department store with black/gray/white colorblock. But otherwise I would have gotten the mixed print bag that you are considering.

Hey guys
I love the Parker bag but I have a problem don’t know which to choose?
Let me knows thanks purseblog family
I love the tearose turnlock and the studs on the second one, and I think the burnished leather is lovely. It definitely makes more of a statement. The only reason why I didn't pursue that one is because I dislike Coach signature print so much, but that's just me. If the signature is cool with you then go for that one.

I agree with the comments. I was never a signature print person but the details on that bag make it a work of art. There are plenty of black bags out there in the same silhouette these days. I like something more unexpected. If you also need a black bag, maybe you can swing both at some point or look to another designer. I'm toying with the quilted one with rivets if it ever comes back in stock. I think last time I looked, it was only available in the chalk. I won't pay full retail so I'm waiting and seeing if my wants change.

The black quilted is stunning, the small studs make it look so luxe.

The signature print one pops nicely with your casual outfit. The black purse just blended in. I didn’t get the studded one bc I thought it might be dressier than the rust/brass Parker and had a lot going on at once, but it looks great with your outfit. I think the various prints actually makes it more versatile. If the black one is too plain for you, you can customize it with pins/flowers online.

Both of these are gorgeous, but do you prefer a solid bag or something with a blend of colors and patterns? Do you want it to be dressier or casual? Which one do you love more when you look at it? I prefer the black one (that is on my wish list for Christmas!) because I like solids, don't wear brown, and don't prefer any kind of signature print. I adore the tea rose turnlock though and agree that pops and looks beautiful with your outfilt. Did you pick one? I can't wait to see if you get it!

That was the one I was initially sure I was getting until I heard about the gunmetal chipping. At the moment I'm planning on getting the regular black one, but it will make my day if they make it with silver hardware or even a soft gold! I'd consider the grey if it had better hardware, but since I just want one, I am pretty sure it will be black. Has anyone that's used their bags a lot got suggestions for which bag will stay looking nice longer? It sounds like the gunmetal chips horribly, and the black scratches easily. I don't know which shows up more and will look worse. I'm planning to use mine mostly when I need a larger semi-dressy bag.

I’m not 100% positive but I feel like it’s the older black copper hardware that chips. Maybe someone else can chime in. But my Ivy Rogue black copper hardware does look different than my older rogue with black hardware. The Ivy black copper just looks ... heartier? It’s not something I’m too concerned about. But I agree I’d love a light gold hardware!

I wonder if it's just the grey that chips. A couple people mentioned they noticed it on the store models. Does anyone with the gunmetal on other colors have any issues?
