I’ve had mine for about a decade now (it is the bag I debate selling the most, but just cannot part with). But wanted to say, I kept the blue stickers on the side of the bag too 😂. I figure it blends in so why not haha. I also have the blue sticker on the back of the hardware still too! Just figured it was too funny we both kept the blue stickers on.It’s not a bag to toss around or let scrape against things as the goatskin is “painted” with this iridescent finish. I have seen some for consignment online that have wear to the bottoms corners only; that seems to be wear to be cautious. However, I had mine for 5 years before I consigned it and it was in pristine condition when I sold it. It even still had the blues stickers covering the sides where the chain pulls through! I just noticed by the pics I posted here, the back of the clasp had the sticker on still too lol 😂 But I was careful with her. She gets a lot of looks and complimentsThe rainbow hardware is just stunning and shows much more on the boy bag vs. the classic version since the boy bag CC clasp is larger. Hope you find one in great condition!

I purchased this 18C caviar Old Medium Boy from a lovely seller in a FB group last week. Zeko gave me the thumbs up on authenticity this morning, so it's time to show her off and take her out! I have always loved the slightly edgy style of the Boy, and it fits with my casual wardrobe. She's the perfect size for the things I carry, and I'm in love!
Hi Friends! Can anyone give me a bit of advice on how to store my 'new to me' Small Boy? The chains are really long and slippery and I'm finding that they're hard to wrap, which is what I'd usually do with my Jumbo Classic Flap. I also tried to tuck the chain into the bag, but then it twists awkwardly where it pokes out on the sides. It doesn't feel right somehow? Any photos of how you all store yours would be so appreciated.

She's so beautiful! Congratulations! I bought the same colour combination yesterday, but in the small size, and I'm absolutely smitten. I've wanted this bag since they were released back in 2012, but life (and other bags) always seemed to get in the way. Finally adding her to my collection has been a dream come true, and I just know that she'll get a lot of wear. I leave mine standing. With a felt piece (came with the bag) across the leather so the chain across the top doesn’t touch the leather. I leave the body of the bag in the dust bag. Then I place the leather part of the handle across the top of the bag over the dust cover with the residual chain left on either side. It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing, but I’ve had my boy bags since 2014 and 2015 with zero issue keeping them this way. Note, I also store my small Rock in Rome seasonal flap this way as well.

Not sure how much you paid but if it bothers you then return it. If it wasn’t too expensive and you can look past the “defect” enjoy it. It took me a minute to see the issue if that helps.
