My brand new to me preloved old medium boy in so black. She is my holy grail and I was lucky to find one that was only carried twice and in immaculate condition. The only thing I wondered about and am trying to find more info on is some of the chair links look like the have some rainbow (tarnish?) colour change. No chipping just a strange hue. Anyone have any ideas or if it indicates a problem? The bag is perfect otherwise

That rainbow hue to the black hardware is normal. The shiny black hardware nowadays seems to have that rainbow effect if you look at the hardware at a certain angle - I have that exact same boy and my hardware looks like that, as well as some other pieces. There has also been a thread or two on it, I believe.

Does anyone use a any type of protectors/sprays on their lambskin Chanel's?
All my other Chanel bags are caviar, but my Boy is lamb... So, I don't tend to reach for her as often as I should b/c I'm always so nervous about water marks, etc. (esp since I live in Florida and it rains basically every day half of the year) THX~

Need help. My hubby is gifting me with a boy bag for our anniversary. I love both and so indecisive on which ones to get. I love the chevron style and I love the caviar Leather as it’s more durable to me. Below is what our store carries...the chevron with the shiny gold hardware in lamb (I think) and The red boy comes in caviar with gold ruth.hw. Which one do you prefer and why? I already have the jumbo classic in blk caviar with gold hw and a woc in red caviar silver hw. The SA says the red boy with gold Hw is hard to find as it is only comes out every 4 years, is that true? And can you tell by the style number if it lambskin?

Woahh hard decision.
For me caviar is the top of my searching.
Based on bags that you have, i choose the red one.
Imho, black caviar in chevron ruthenium hw is the great combo for edgy and easy style.
I did ask for the black caviar in chevron style but they only have it in the quilted. I also own a small vintage black quilted in lambskin. I would love some color in my closet. The red is not a true red as it gears more towards the red orange.
Oh then, if i were you maybe i just wait until the black caviar chevron style up coming.
will regret if buy in a rush baby
