The XL is double the size of the classic large executive. And it was only seasonal so I would love to hear if someone had found one! I've been hunting for it.
I saw the Act 1 views on the Ipad yesterday at a boutique in the UK.
There were 3 Cerf totes shown as seasonal, known as "Executive Totes" in the UK.
My SA compared them to the current classic as I asked why they had increased in price from the current cost of £1,600.
The first was 2cm larger than the current size and £1900 something, but below£2,000.
The second was the same approximate dimensions as the first, but £2,000 think it was below £2,100. Not sure if it was a different leather that caused the price difference but the picture was a beige.brown colour.
The last was a smaller east/west type which was £1500 something, I think below £1,600.
Not sure if this means that the current classics will be discontinued, but probably worth asking sooner rather than later if planning to get one anytime soon.

Hi, I have the medium size tote and I use a base shaper. I don't think it's necessary as some people like the slouchy look. But if you want to maintain the shape, you could look into getting a custom one from here: http://www.baseshaperstore.com/ (I personally like the look of the clear acrylic one most) It's not exactly cheap, but in the long run, it will help
If you're unsure of what dimensions to go for, you can cut some cardboard down and trial it out for a few uses. There are also some flexible ones on ebay. HTHThank you so much for your helpful info! I like the clear one too!

What size did you get for your cerf? I have the standard size. I'm not sure of the dimensions but its the regular $3000 one. Thanks so much!
For anyone interested Harrod's currently has black w/GHW in two sizes (the really small one and the regular one). No other colours available (at least as of yesterday). They refer to it as the "Executive Tote." Regular going for 1600 GBP and I was told 14% VAT back by one SA and 12% by another. Don't forget to pick up a Harrod's Rewards Card when you make your purchase!
I'm really interested in getting this bag for an everyday bag to carry to work and casually. Do you guys think the gold hardware will look to formal for casual? Or do you guys think the bag itself might be too "formal" looking for casual wear? Is it worth $3000?
Hi there! The measurements that I used for my base shaper was 34.6cms(l) x 12.0cms (w). My bag is the A15206 which is the regular. It's definitely worth investing in. HTH
I love GHW so I may be a little biased... but I don't think that it is too formal looking. In fact, my executive tote only comes out with me when I want to dress a little more casual. In my opinion, it's perfect for shopping and lunch dates - the detachable strap also makes it look less formal. I don't think I would use it for work either as it is quite delicate.
In regards to the price point, I paid AUD$3,400 for mine so $3,000 is definitely worth it. I've had mine for about a year now and have had no regrets. The structure has held up and minimalist design just oozes sophistication. Let us know how you go

Any chance of CHANEL coming out with the beige cerf again? I asked my saks 5th SA about it, and she said she called CHANEL to inquire, and was told it is currently discontinued 😢
We have them in aus. The Brisbane store showed me one the other day. They had the large and the smaller one.
