The SA told me there was one in Melbourne. Looks like its gone now if you couldn't find it. So looks like I won't be getting it before the price increase. I kind of made the decision to get it too

oh no.. i mean i couldnt see it on display !! they tend to keep some behind:graucho:.. the cerf is awesome. i would get it if i haven't got my gst.

Hi all !

I am infatuated by this bag and am on the edge of buying it .. I actually think it sort of resembles the birkin.

Just a few questions to those who own the newer version (the one with the tab closure).. how much can you fit in your bag? I've tried looking in the what's in my chanel bag thread but couldn't see any with the executive tote.

Also, any tips on keeping the bag's natural structured form and general care? Do you find the pouch useful? do you find that your belongings move much (for example, the pouch is detachable so items on one side travel underneath the pouch to the other side?)

Sorry for all the questions I'm just so indecisive as its my second Chanel and might be my last .. Photos would be helpful too :p

Thanks in advance :D

I love the cerf tote and trying to decide on black with GHW or SHW. Normally, I like the SHW but something about the GHW on the cerf that I really like. Do you think the SHW or GHW is okay for everyday work bag?

The cerf goes anywhere! Great for work or for everyday! You'll love it! The GHW is awesome too!

I actually promised to get rid of the cerf once I got a birkin. Got one last year but now refuse to get rid of the cerf ;-) It's an awesome bag. Fits so much ( have 3 kids, so I need lots of room)! Great for work or play.

I keep the bag stuffed when not using and it pops back in shape but will slouch with use. Need to "reshape" as I store from time to time but I find myself using it all the time!! I use the pouch as a make-up case but it never stays snapped in. I just throw it in my bag. You'll love the cerf! Lighter then the birkin too!

I love the cerf and I think it's a perfect work bag. And yes, it has been mistaken as a birkin a few times from far away.. however, please know that cerf will lose its shape on the side and won't be as structured as you use it.. some peopke are really turned off by this but I still like it.. I will try to post some pictures soon.. :)

Thanks! Can't wait to see them :D and yes I agree the Cerf is a perfect work bag - simple, timeless and classic! I love flaps but IMO they too dressy for my workplace and I am so glad I discovered the Cerf :)

Has your Cerf lost its structure and if so, how long did you own it for before it started to sag/slouch?

For the lucky few who have managed to keep their cerf's structure - what's your secret!

I have my cerf tote about 7 months now and mine is okay so far. I use it for work pretty often and I can see how the bottom corners can start lose its shape. On the weekends or whenever I'm not using it, I make sure I stuff the tote really well and store it properly. Only time will tell if the shape will hold... Still I love my cerf tote!

Here are the pictures I've promised you ladies.. first couple of pictures are with stuffed tissue papers and the rest without.
I think mine started going soft on me after about a year or so but I still love it... :)

Still gorgeous. Just look at that beautiful caviar leather and golden hardware. I sold mine a few months ago because the top handles were just too short for me to put over my shoulder, and that's how I like to carry totes. But if I was a little shorter (I'm 5'11) I would have kept it

My cerf juuuust started showing signs of slouch maybe a few months after wearing it a few times a week. I personally liked it more when it started to soften...it was pretty boxy and stiff brand new. My only regret is getting it in white rather than black...the white fabric lining is turning this weird yellowy color by the zipper areas and pockets...:(
