I'm still researching this bag, but does it come with a strap? Also are there CCs on the back side? This bag is gorgoeus and will my need for a work/meeting bag though I know it can be used much more than that. Thanks in advance!
The regular size bag does come with a strap but the smaller model did not and the CC turnlock is just on the one side - not on both.

How long have you had your Cerf Tote? Mine's a year and a half old with regular, though not steady, use. It's softened up a little, but I don't want it to get too much softer. It's from the boutique and in the " newer" leather. Thanks!
I am torn between the cerf tote and an hermes victoria ii as a work purse. How are your purses holding up guys after wearing everyday with a laptop inside? I am planning on using this as a daily purse with a 13inch laptop. How do you guys feel about it having an open top? thanks! 
I've had my Cerf Tote for a year and a half and it gets regular use for approximately 4 months of the year, then, on occasion the rest of the time. It's holding up beautifully! It's softened slightly, but in a beautiful way, making it more enjoyable to carry. I adore this bag! I wouldn't put a lap top in it, however. I just don't think it'd withstand that type of use without losing its shape. The open top isn't an issue for me. I use the zippered pouch to secure items that need more security and the magnetic closure really tightens up the open top. I carry it by hand or in the crook of my arm most often, and the straps do fit on my shoulder. The long strap is an added bonus.
