Just wanted to say that I've enjoyed looking through the recent pages of this thread! I agree that the Borough is a stunning, classic bag - yet another bag that got a ridiculous amount of hype from Coach and now isn't even made anymore. :confused1:
I have 3 - the original black pebbled zipper, a black smooth soft glovetan, and the saddle/tan riveted soft borough. Your posts have inspired me to take mine out and admire them again. I've been living in my 1941 flax saddle bag but may have to switch into one of these soon!!! :flowers:

yes congratulations! I was watching yours (the one you won) on ebay a couple weeks ago for my mom, but she didn't want one that big. She has a medium white one and wants another that size. After I saw your post about how it slouches after it breaks in I'm thinking she would be happy with a large. I won her a green swagger and matching soft wallet for $72 so she's happy still :)

I won a poorly listed large colorblock highrise with chain a year ago for $59 shipped and the chain (and the stiffness - it was glovetan and boarskin embossed = very stiff) meant a dealbreaker for me too :)

It was my lucky day for sure! I don't know why they would put such a strap on a bag that size, there's just no way it can be comfortable! My highrise is large for sure but just seems like a tote bag to me so it's all good. I have the strap doubled which makes it easier to carry in my opinion. It's almost like a cross between a hobo and a tote:smile:

yes, and the chain strap you can't double over or even adjust. I love the design of the highrise with the vachetta strap. so easy to go from shoulder to crossbody. too bad they didn't make but a few and to find one on ebay under $200 is pretty rare nowadays.

Returning my recently shopped medium borough due to quality issues. :/ It is a new one (from 6pm.com) but the bag already has a bad slouch on the front, some scratches on the edges and the base. Not a big deal, but not very impressed overall. Will post some pics later. My first borough.
