The Borough Bag

Hi! I bought both the camel and warm grey B because I think both colors are beautiful. However I found that this size is a little big for me so I returned the camel B (only because I had already cut the tag off the warm grey). I kind of see the grey as a lighter version of black and camel as a lighter version of brown so using that analogy, I think the warm grey will be a slightly better neutral. But I think you can't go wrong with either color. I really like both colors. good luck deciding and let us know what you decide.

You know, I too prefer smaller bags and felt that the Borough was a bit too big for me. But, once I fell hard for a color (teal) I completely overlooked this. This is the first time it happens to me. I have passed on many great bags because of size until the Borough. I forgive it for being a bit big. :giggles: Hope you find a size you love.

I agree...LOVE how the Tan looks! Nice comparison picture...I got the Tan Grommet Borough via charge send and love the look :smile1:. As much as I like/want a gray bag, they don't seem to do anything for me personally. I love the look on other people but the color just doesn't work for me (or my complexion, LOL).

The grommet B is stunning! I have to admit that I want a gray B, but since I already have a couple gray bags, I am starting to lean towards searching for the washed chambray. (I never saw it on FOS.)

Not much corner wear that I can see, although I load it with my office laptop and take the subway. The bag is stiff and keeps its shape well which I feel suits the design of the bag.

I've used mine about 5 times, and I carry everything in there. After the first time of use it started losing its stiff shape. I wished it held up a little longer. I prefer my pebbled large boroughs, they lose shape as well, but they look better worn in. I think i'm done with saffiano leather, all of my saffiano bags have not aged well.

Was wondering how your saffiano borough bags are holding up if u still have them??

Hi all! My black medium borough in soft leather was my first coach bag and after nearly a year it remains my favourite bag!

I did a little review for anybody who still doesn't have a borough, or just for anybody who wants to see a really pretty bag :p

looks very nice and sophisticated in black! although, i do agree that the corner parts wear easily but it is not noticeable!

Already posted this image in the clubhouse, but I thought I'd chip in here with my borough family...

Medium camel in retro glove tan, and mini in oxblood/olive grey :graucho:

I only have them in glove tan leather, but there's a used pebbled turnlock medium coming my way in a few weeks. This is the exact bag and I'm pretty excited. Can anyone opine on how the pebbled leather reacts/wears over time? I plan to not be super precious about this one (unlike how I am with the camel, for example)...

I just received my black pebbled leather borough from the MFF sale and the quality is HORRIBLE. The print already is fading and the zippers are IMPOSSIBLE to pull open or close. Despite the deal I got, it's not functional if I have to struggle with the zips. Looks like a return is in my near future.
