now that the borough bag is discontinued what is your opinion of an acceptable price to purchase one? like new or minimal wear condition. It looks like Posh is all over the place with pricing. And does this bag get faked a bit /should I worry about purchasing and being handed over a fake?

Price would depend on finish, size and new or pre-owned. Which one are you interested in? Make sure to get picture of creed in inside. You can authenticate through TPF if you are concerned. I have two and love them. Great quality!

A classic color, black or a nude, or the grey. I'm not sure which one will hold up to scuffs the best, in terms of the leather choices. Definitely a medium. I saw a couple on posh but it seems like the price point is all over the board, same with vestiarie collective. I saw two black ones on VC sold at a $100 difference but really didn't investigate quality. VC isn't as descriptive as fashionphile and yoogi with their listings.

I'm okay with a little wear around the edges but not okay with fraying or pen marks or stains.

I'm conflicted......this style is now 3 years old was introduced fall 2013. have only used my large black one once in the two years ive owner her...should I keep or sell? I have three mediums I have hardly used as well......love them, but just haven't really used them. still fans out there of this bag? thoughts?

This is a hard one. I am often purchasing handbags (or at least the colors) that have been discontinued and are at the outlets/online sale. Which means - hard to find. I have 2 Boroughs myself that I do not carry them often. I love the classic, simple style of the Borough. I have a medium pebbled black and a medium saffiano in brindle. I have to admit I had the black for a while and sold it because I was trying to downsize and hadn't carried it much. Less than a year later - I found a NWT one on an auction site and repurchased because I had regrets. I still love it - although it is heavy. I have found when I have carried it recently I am preferring crossbody due to its weight.

I don't know I am helping you much...but before you sell any make sure you will be ok with letting go. What colors are your 3 mediums? Maybe consider picking 1 or 2 to keep.

The Borough was one of Coach's best designs so I think there will always be collectors looking out for it although you may need to wait a while for a buyer. I had a mini but sold it as it was too small. Would love a medium size down the road but not this year as I'm on Ban Island.

This is I believe one of coach's best styles ever produced if not the best...the rogue that I bought this year that was all the rave doesn't compare to me, still stunning but there is something striking about the borough, I totally agree. just bought too many LVs the last two months and looking to purge. the large version is SO HEAVY. Only used it once or twice.....just cant handle the weight and thinking I will let that go and hang on the the medium gray, black and loganberry. hmmmm. decisions

Obviously you know yourself best...I have 7 of the large size (2 are soft boroughs), so the weight doesn't bother me that much. Totally agree with you that's one of Coach's very best designs-recently tried the Rogue and it just doesn't compare for me either. Felt crazy back in the day buying so many boroughs, but now I'm glad I held on to them; the only other bag that I will soon have as many multiples is the Nomad. The sophistication of these styles are amazing.

It's really up to you, if the medium works better for daily use. For me size was never a question, since I carried large files to work; recently I took on a job that requires me to carry my laptop around, and actually my 15" can only fit in the soft borough. All the rest of them wouldn't serve the purpose, but I still love them and carry once in a while. Good luck deciding; sometimes your needs may change every few years, so doesn't hurt to hold on to things until you're sure they no longer work.

to me I love the looks of it and such a statement piece but kill myself when I load it up, tried last night but never use it as a result. oh so gorg though
