Great outfits! And, I agree, the colorblock looks awesome with all of them! :graucho:
Thanks !:smile1:

Thank you, letstalkbags for the beautiful modeling pictures! You look fantastic with the white/warm grey retro colorblock. I love how you paired the different outfits with the bag. I honestly think this bag can be easily dressed up or down. Good to know that the leather is lighter than the pebbled med B, because sometimes I feel like after loading my black pebbled med B, it does get heavy! Well, what can I say, I like to be prepared when I'm out! Do you find retro colorblock hard to maintain? It's such a beautiful bag, do you find yourself having to be extra careful and baby it when you use it?
You are very welcomed.:smile1:
Sort of , I am careful with it to a point. I don't wear dark wash jeans with any light colored bag and try to be careful about scratches. But that is true with all my bags, especially the Legacy leather. I want them to look nice for a long time so take care of them. I also use COACH moisturizer on my handbags to help protect them.

I agree that men's bags or fashion in generally are lacking in style or fashion details, for example in men's section of tees, a tee is just a tee, probably with varying prints on the front but that's about it, whereas ladies' tees have different shapes, cutting, designs and stuff that are not just limited to prints, so I have always felt men's fashion are definitely boring.

Bags don't have genitals so I don't see why it can only be a ladies bag. I strongly dislike the way some people associate things with genders, i.e. pink only for ladies, blue only for men; handbags for ladies, messenger bags for men only. I mean put it the other way round, many ladies use men stuff, why can't men use ladies stuff? Makes life with so many limited options, and this I think is very stupid.

IMHO the Coach Borough Bag is one bag that really suits fine on both ladies and men, it's such a fantastic design and shape, and neutral in every way if you look at it alone. Once it's worn on a lady it'd make the lady look very elegant; while on a man it'd look like a wonderful everyday bag / briefcase that's big enough to fit documents, MacBook Air, etc.

If people give you weird looks, screw them! Don't give a toss about them who have very narrow-minded brains and they live only inside a box set with a narrow list of strict rules of social norms that were probably derived from the 19th century. They should learn to accept others have their own tastes and preferences, and embrace life that changes everyday and moves on. Again, put it the other way, in the medieval times tights used to be men's thing, now it's ladies fasion; UGG boots initially started off as men's items (soldiers specifically speaking); same goes to riding boots until we kind of stole them to be our fashion items. The war had a lot to do with changes in fashion and stuff, but there is no reason why men can't use stuff that were originally their own, or reverse the trend like how things did in favour of ladies.

If you like it then get it!! It's such a wonderful bag! Just one advice though: don't hold it on your arm or how you wear it on your shoulder like how ladies do. See these images below and you'll see what I mean;

Get a wider strap for crossbody wearing, not as wide as the image below, that'd ruin the great appearance of the Borough, but get one about 1 inch wide. That'd look good on men. :D

I have absolutely no problem with men using ladies stuff, if that means making life and fashion a bit more interesting. Just make sure you know how to make yourself look good! Thumbs up from me!
Great post. I agree 100% with what you wrote, and I love the pics. Those guys look fantastic!

Yey! I'm joining the club -- again. I bought a medium Alpine Moss when it first came out and returned it due to awful black pit marks/mold(?) on the silver hardware.

Got this at the sale for 40%. Presenting (in my work bathroom, forgive me!) my medium walnut glove tanned borough with sunglow edgepaint.

Gorgeous! Love it with your top as well!

Here are some outfits I have worn with my Borough bag in the retro colorblock .
This bag is really easy to dress around and very casual in the white/ warm grey imo.
The leather is lighter than pebbled medium B also.
I almost got the chambray B but just opted for the cornflower daily bag since it is close to that color. I do love the chambray color, but I don't carry blue bags a lot .

Ugh oh! I wish I didn't see these pics! I just ordered the navy, white, and tan cb borough now I want this one too! Looks great on you.

The bar stripe!

Great choice !:p Wish this size worked for me, I had to get bar stripe Highrise instead . Congrats on the chambray too !

Thanks ladies. :flowers: Yeah, the stripes really catch the eye.

Very pretty. I do love the yellow with the brown. :) :) I wish they'd have done that one in mini.
