I was looking forward to buying my first coach bag but another bag, well two bag catches my eyes. I bought one of them lol.. And I am trying to deside whether to get this red borough.

Just called two Coach stores and they tell me that they received notice today that the Borough bag is now excluded from the FB event/coupon. This is so turning me off Coach, and now I will not be buying any Borough bags from FP Coach, I'll wait until they go to the outlets or do without. The two I've already bought have been from department stores with nice discounts, so if I never buy another I'm fine with that.
Yes it's crazy, and that's exactly what I told the SA. They didn't seem to know why, just that the policy was back to excluding the Borough.
Congrats to those of you who were able to get the discount during the last PCE.
I just had the same experience and was told no extension on pce and Boroughs are no longer included. No new Borough from Coach for me.
I just wish Coach would establish a policy and then stick with it. Either exclude it altogether from discounts and outlet, or allow the discounts. It's infuriating to hear some stores granting it and others saying "no". I have 3 Boroughs myself and only one of them was purchased at discount, but I'm to the point that I won't buy another one unless I can get it at discount either from Coach or another retailer.
What the hell??? Seriously??? I just opted to use the fb PCE instead of my regular one, because I was away until Sunday afternoon. And I didn't have time to drop by Monday, but there is a return that I am making to partially fund the purchase, so I need to be physically in the store. I asked my SA, and she emailed me yesterday that boroughs can be used on the fb PCE's-if I bring that in, do you think I can make a case about it? My SA even scheduled a meeting time for me on Thursday, which is her off day! This is unbelievable! Why would they resume the exclusion in the middle of another PCE??? If they terminate the promotion, shouldn't they do it after the event, not during???
I'd bring the email with you and throw the biggest stink if they try to deny it. If they still say no, I'd return your item you were bringing in and walk out.
Thank you for your suggestion! That's exactly what I plan to do. I just feel bad for my SA, because she's the nicest person you can imagine, and I already told her which items that I'm going to get! She had them all searched out and everything. I don't want to make a scene in the store to embarrass her further, but oh yes a lot of my future purchases are going to be put on hold because of this. Will get the few things that I'd absolutely have to have, and then boycott them altogether. Jesus!!
Vey big turnoff. The Borough is a nice bag, but it's not the Holy Grail for goodness sakes. Coach needs to get over themselves already.

The SA's have no control over Corporate, so I agree don't embarrass the SA, but if they try to deny using PCE tomorrow for your Borough, talk with the store manager, explaining your frustration is not with the store staff, but with corporate's indecision when it comes to discount pricing for the Boroughs. Hopefully, it won't be an issue though and with the email in hand, they will honor it.

But anyway, I think they have to make an exception in this case, because I actually contacted the store before the idiots in the corporate revoked the inclusions on the borough! And I'll also tell them that I would have called in, if I didn't have a return to make. Not sure if I want to continue dealing with all this capriciousness after this is done though! Lots of lovely bags from other brands are waiting for me!
