I just got the small Double-Zip last month, in taupe glossy goat with silver hw. I simply LOVE it! It's my 4th Mulberry, and my first glossy goat.



I don't have a close-up photo, but here is a model shot. From the smile on my face, can you tell that I adore this bag?

I'm pretty small... and I can't wear the handles of my small d-z over my shoulder. Perhaps others on this thread can?

Mog, the larger version will work fabulously for you and the strap/handles give this wonderful bag total versatility of uses. It really is a workhorse of a bag. Useful, fun, practical but beautiful.

Is there a way you can try it on IRL? I very nearly bought the large, and if I had only been a few cm taller I could have gotten away with it. Fortunately I had a chance to see it in the boutique, so I could really take my time and study both sizes... finally opted for the smaller, but even then it was wonderful to study the different leathers and again make a decision in person rather than trying to figure it out from photos on my screen.

They have closed the Mulberry boutique in San Francisco, about 3 hours from me, but the smaller one, about 90 minutes away, remains open. Whew! I don't know what I'll do if it closes! (Yes I do...)

Izzy, Clakas, Elaine...as all three of you have the small version, how are they lined? I was at Mulberry yesterday and had a look at the lining and idk, I somehow found it a bit odd? Maybe I'm just too pampered because my other two bags are lined with suede but what do you think of it?

Any help highly appreciated... x

Both mine are the large ones not the small ones. The leather extends several inches into the inside of the bag.Then it is lined with a heavy black fabric which I like. It is tough and so far I have had no problems with stains. Honestly, I'll have to check my red one to see what color it is lined with. It is hard to make a transition from the tree lining to this but I think you will be okay with it.

Oh so sorry Izzy, I thought your black one was the small. Thank you so much for your review, your opinion means a lot to me. I'm also afraid that it will loose it's structure - but all in all I'm so careful with my bags, I hope it wont anytime soon if I really get my hands on it.

Mine is lined with black fabric, just as Izzy described. I don't have a problem with it, though I do prefer the old "mulberry tree" lining in my Alexa.

I'm just as glad it's not lined with suede... that would make the bag quite heavy.
