OMG!
Another good reason to keep a larger bag. Rather hit them with a bigger bag than a small one!!

Thanks everyone for your kind words <3

I'd still recommend shoes in such situations, but I'm glad that you are happy with the bag.

Sometimes you really do have to work through all the options before you can come to a decision; without it you would never have realised that all your bags are the same small size, which is why you do actually need a large bag :smile1:

Hello everyone! I'm considering purchasing a second D-Z in the small size. I own the taupe in GG, but I'm drooling over the oxblood in natural leather. Does anyone own a small D-Z in natural leather? If so, how do they hold up over time? Do they keep their shape, like my GG does, or do they sag?

TIA for your help!

That helps a LOT, remainsilly... thank you! Your bag looks beautiful, and not a bit saggy.

Is NVT the same thing as "natural leather," which is how the Mulberry USA site describes this bag?

Thanks.♡
Glad helps.

Nvt = natural vegetable tanned
May be same. Mulb likes to switch terms & confuse.

Oxblood dz is lovely.
Would go well with many of your scarves, imo.
Good hunting.:)

So DZ has arrived earlier than expected... Here are some mod shots - I'm 5'2 average build

Give me some honest feedback - is it too boxy and too big for me? Should I keep her? I got her for a good price (about 820gbp) so I inclined to keep her but i don't want to just keep her because she is at a good price.... I often get blinded when I get a good deal... I.e. See things better than what they are

Thanks

I'm interested in this bag. I think it would be a great work bag. I think it looks nice on you. Which size is this? I'm debating between the two sizes. It seems that they need an in between size as well.

I would love to see a side by side comparison pic of the two sizes if anyone has both bags.

This is the Larger one. It didn't work out for me so I have decided to sell this one :-/

I've been lurking on this forum forever and just love your photos and posts. I have always thought the DZ looks too boxy and stiff but after seeing the slight slouch that it seems to develop over time although still structured our to the double zips which I like very much. I too am considering a regular DZ but can't decide on the colour - tan natural leather, oxblood or black. I also dislike the cream lining that is being used on the other colours whereas these 3 have the nice mulberry tree patterns on them. Also wondering if it's too business-like for a smart casual dresser like me. Would the oak or oxblood be more suitable then rather than black? And, would it be too big and heavy for day-to-day use? Questions, questions .....

Hello and welcome, I don't have this bag and you may get more response over on the main Mulberry forum.

I totally agree with you about linings, I've avoided a number of bags because of this [emoji36]

Personally I think the DZ bays is more formal looking, especially in black

I'm pretty casual with mine.

Empty weight is 3lbs, regular size, nvt.
So heavier than some. But I use day to day quite often in summer(oak).
Agree, black looksmore formal. As does shinier, glossy goat leather.

Believe coca is axing this style. So grab one soon.

It's an absolutely beautiful bag, but after intermittent regular use (about two weeks at a time, then I'd set it aside for several weeks) I found that it was too heavy for my wrists. I only did hand carry, not shoulder as I'm not tall and it would hit my hip from the shoulder strap. Mine was goatskin and just a beautiful deep black color, very ladylike and polished with those shiny double zips. I ended up sending mine for consignment last week hoping it will suit somebody else better.

Perhaps the smaller size of the two double zips could be useful?

Help me people!

Does anyone recall if the small DZ came in the colour/leather combo: "Pavement Grey Silky Classic Calf"?

I have the large and I love it so much I want a smaller "more everyday" one! :)
