I found this thread too late! I tried on a few Max mara, max mara studio, and weekend max mara coats last year, wrote up some reviews here https://maddyloves.wordpress.com/2019/10/23/fashion-first-impressions-of-four-max-mara-coats/
I ended up picking up the camel Manuela. I usually wear a US size 8 so I picked it up in IT size 42. It’s a tiny bit oversized but I can layer thicker sweaters underneath. I have a really cheap wool camel coat from Club Monaco but I never wore it because the wool felt so scratchy. Now I love my Manuela coat because it is so soft and luxurious.

I got it vintage and is size 12,I usually use size 10. But with Madame coat I like the look of oversize ❤️
Oh and my height is 5’8” with my CL heels I’m 6 foot .

Looks great on you! I’m considerably shorter so wondering if i need to shorten it as hits my shins right now.
