OKaaaaayyyy I just ordered the Beverly MM from eLuxury (no tax!). I almost didn't order it today because I was feeling under the weather. Now, I'm feeling queasy all over again but in a good way LOL

I'll post some modeling pics and/or comments whether the Beverly MM is "It" for me once I have it in my possession... ack! I feel so guilty for spending so much!

So happy to finally join in official way... my Beverly MM has arrived! :tender:

Some first impressions for the Beverly Club:
- the drop when handheld is 16" from top of handle to the bottom of the bag. When I hold the bag from my hand, there is a foot clearance from the bottom of bag to ground (w/o heels). It works as handheld.

- beautiful details -- all the nice details on every LV bag wrapped up in one in this bag... everything with the exception of a lock and key. It's got ruching, detail stitching, lots of brass/vachetta, pushlock, feet, outer/inner pockets, alcantara lining and a structured vachetta strap. LV should make more feminine bags of this calibre.

- The Beverly will hold a US standard magazine (rolled-up) but not the British/Asian larger mags.

- the only drawback (tho it is a small issue) is that the strap/handle although flexible, is fairly stationary over the opening of the bag. The flap will clear the top of the strap/handle, no prob tho! It might help if the buckles were oval to ease the strap/handle behind the bag when opening the flap, esp. if you are holding it in your lap or have it on a counter and need a good view.

HTH for everyone who's considering Beverly MM. I normally carry a lot more but I was looking for a feminine bag to carry wallet, phone, keys, magazine and/or small agenda, maybe a small makeup pouch.

Here are some pics and a photoshopped pic of the Beverly on my shoulder -- I'm a mess today and shy about that, but wanted to offer a reference... I'm size 16/18 and 5'4" (curvy/plump) -- pleasantly surprised given my build, the bag isn't too small and a really good size proportionally. wowee...

I will search for the thread again...as for Magazine? don't think it will fit...you need the GM ha ha ..

CrazyBag, for the life of me I can't figure out where that thread is... I've looked all over but I know the title of the thread has the words "transitional day to night bag". I'll try again when the search function comes back on. Alot of members recommended bags from the Epi and Vernis line, I think Montaigne was mentioned quite a bit. I'd like to look at that thread again myself...

Congrats:drool:...despite your deliberate blur reference pictures (Ha Ha -- I thot mine was blur already.)...I think the size looks really good on you. Plus you did fantastic detailed review which I is very useful. I love how the MM makes it workable for different builts...maybe I should get it in the monogram sometime...need to figure a way to reduce the number of stuff I carry ;). I think this will be a classic feminie bag that will not go out of fashion. Love it love it. NO WAY THIS BAG LOOKS AUNTY HA HA

p.s yeah I need to do searches but gotta wait till the function is up

^^ aww thanks CrazyBag. I still can't believe I have it, the alcantara lining feels so luxurious. I am weird, but I haven't gotten around to removing the wraps from the MM yet...

LV is like an addiction, that's for sure. I planned for Beverly MM to be my LAST LV... but now I'm starting to scheme a bit for another from Beverly line :graucho: .... I love yours and everyone's GM size too  It'll be a while b4 I can achieve the funds tho.

Questions for GM users: do you find it easy to use every day? And do you treat it with kid gloves or more carefree, throwing caution to the winds? Compared to the MM, would you say the capacity of GM is twice as roomy as MM, or roomier? Can you show/tell us what's in your GMs? TY!!

ps: haha I went overboard with the blur feature, didn't I.

I'm finally in the Beautiful Beverly Club with my Black MC Beverly MM!! :)

That would be great Rainrowan. I was originally going in to get the Mono Beverly because it's so elegant, however they were sold out. ...Then I saw the Multicolor lol. I would love to see more photos of your Mono beverly, yours is so beautiful and I love the undarkened vachetta.

Congrats on your Beverly MM, rainrowan! That MM size is the prettiest:heart: & most feminine looking of all the Bevs! I have the GM (& the pochette, LOL) & it's quite schleppable and I do use it as an everyday bag (in rotation). Yes, it hold tons...that's why I had to get it instead of the gorgeous MM. I'll get it out of the box today and post pics as soon as I can:smile1:.

oh no, I just lost my post!

Thanks sugarcookie! I can't wait to see your pics.

Trust me, I usually carry ALOT more than what is currently in my MM... I had to pare down contents considerably. My sister has the Beverly pochette too, I guess we are a Beverly family.

Been obsessing over GMs ever since I saw everyone else's; looking at the LV site and pics on the web. I see that it is currently out of stock at the LV and eLuxury sites. I hope it is only temporary; would love to get a chance to own one....

I know, I'm such a dork but here's another posed shot of BevMM. I'm showing off my Hello Kitty credit card and a tissue packet that looks curiously LV-inspired! :p
