^ heh heh sorry misunderstood you bought the MC.....I love the monogram as well...Here's me yesterday casual saturday with my beverly (i finally gave my berkeley a rest)...I surprisingly got a lot of compliments and stare on this bag :shame:...(sorry for the blur pictures). Guess it is loud!!

Does anyone know if the Beverly comes in sizes other than the clutch, MM, GM? I thought there was an even larger one?

Thanks Crazy Bag. maybe I was thinking of the MC GM, it is slightly larger than the Mono GM.

I am thinking of getting the Beverly MM right now... I am just not sure with the monogram, whether this bag will look outdated eventually? I mean, the bag itself has that "old auntie" look to it, but I happen to really like that style, sort of retro. Decisions, decisions!

How are you liking your MC GM, Crazy Bag? I looks like a really fun bag to load up with fashion magazines and such!

Truth is I am seriously liking my GM size very much more than the MM now. Though I thought the MM and was like mine mine mine and was so hesitant to change to the GM (no choice, don't seem to be able to put my stuff into the MM). Multicolore and Mono GM are the same size. I tried both.

With the GM, it is so much more versatile. Also since it is MC and double handles, it is a twist from the conventional, hence, I think my GM Beverly may turn out to be a classic rather than look dated 3 to 5 years down the road. I think the beverly MM in mono will also be very classic shoulder bag and it is cute and you are right...retro feel. If you can fit all your stuff in the bag, why not! Warning: internal of the MM is small (at least for me). Hope you join the club soon ;)

p.s. I always like aunty bag or grandma bag looks..don't know why too -- they know best??? HA HA HA but hey, it is really how you carry it not what you carry. so don't worry too much. Think about it, you can still carry the beverly when you reach 60 -- at least for the monogram. Me, I am going to carry multicolore till death despite people saying it is ulgy.

I am not too far from 60yo...omg :push: LOL

Well, I'm almost there with the funds, I have to be patient... I want to order tonight, but it will be raining the next week or so and I have to plan delivery carefully.

Beverly line has all the details that are very "LV feminine": shoulder strap/s, brass feet, pushlock, pleating, vachetta, even the extra back pocket. I am so surprised there are not more fans of Beverly clutch, mm, gm. My sister has the clutch. I hope this is my holy grail bag... the size seems good for me, since I have a Speedy35 for hauling my extra junk.

I think your GM is a great bag and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! It is so unique that people don't know how to react, but there's no question it is an LV, they just haven't seen it often enough, maybe they are scared of the LV in Murakami colors! I too tend to wear things that people don't like, or dress in certain things that look bad on others, but work very well with me. I used to listen to people, but I'm happier listening to myself!

I started a thread about looking for a day-to-evening bag and I got great suggestions, but I am not sure if the Beverly MM was mentioned. In the thread, I wanted to just carry my essentials, like small wallet, keys, compact, cell phone. Maybe a rolled up magazine too. I hope this is enough room.

btw, Crazy Bag I did catch the other thread of yours re Bev MM. Thanks for your help!

I will search for the thread again...as for Magazine? don't think it will fit...you need the GM ha ha :yes:..pleasse make sure you join us in this club when you get it. :)
