No wonder garbage from TRR sells like crazy

About a year ago I noticed that worn out and beaten up luxury bags were IN, and TRR started selling “as is” category, however for prices corresponding to the condition.

But deconstructed , and not very imaginative also, rendition of bags are just appalling. To me at least. Sorry if someone likes it, I understand that too. I have quirks which I like, like Off-White Meteor bag with such big holes, it can’t serve as a bag unless you have a pouch in it 😂, and is my favorite. I also dreamed about one beaten Birkin in barenia, so disfigured you would never say it was Hermes, but looked like from old adventure movies. And was cheap for a Hermes ($5500) but I did not have even that much.

However, when “as is” bags become as expensive almost as the original price of the bag in those days, something is very wrong. And now $3000 for this ?

Good idea for DIY project if someone has a bag with such bad handles that it can’t even be offered for sale, or if you buy a bad one for peanuts (if there is such thing any more) and add whatever you wish to make it wearable, and original.

I don't mind it either. Twillies are a PITA, they slip and slide and untie themselves, and then you have to wash and iron them. Grosgrain ribbon (or wide ballet ribbon) are actually much better. Just cut across the grain to stop fraying (or maybe don't if you want them to look like destroyed shoe laces).

Well, now that's giving a great idea... like the earlier Miu Miu ballet flats with the mismatched ribbons!

Not me now looking at bags with wrecked handles in a new light. :no:

I know that some other colors from F04 are prone to fading, but I never thought Marron was one of those colors
Do ya'll think thats whats happening here or do you just think the dye didn't take as much as in other Marron bags?
I mean, I was convinced it wasn't even Marron because even the stitching looks different but then I compared the tag inside the bag and it looks much more like Marron. The difference is really bizarre

Woaaaa, I am trembling every time I send something even using “reliable” UPS or DHL and paying a fortune for shipping, but this event just decided it all for me. NO. I don't think for now we in Canada can’t buy or sell abroad because it became ridiculous. I am so sorry this happened to you. They insulted me few times with offers and I gave up on them and Yoogi’s. I think we should slow down everything for now, until Canada changes something. in the past you could buy and have sent by post and avoid customs on occasion, now they also have strict rules like UPS, duties are insane !!!! I can’t keep up with spending fortune to buy and receive peanuts when I sell. We might learn how to be happy with current collections until something is changed. Again Muchy, you have my deep sympathy for this loss

Thank you! I’ve sent dozens of bags and have only had two packages lost, so I guess that’s not too bad. :hrmm:
