The bag/s you're glad you didn't buy?

Let's see.
It's not bags although some have tempted me and India knows of one that put me in a bit of a spin before I calmed myself (=smacked myself upside the head).

But my weakness right now is spring clothes.

I did not buy the dress at Garnet Hill.com.
Actually I did not buy two of them.

It's cold. I do not need a summer dress.

Today, I added a bunch of bags and wallets to a shopping cart on Coach's online factory website, but then I left it alone and, when I came back to it about 30 minutes later, I just deleted everything from the cart and signed out of the website.

I am really proud of myself for not giving into temptation.

I hear ya!

New H Kellys as well as Chanels also don't do it for me, compared them with 20 years ago and :nogood:

I love the Victoria too and was absolutely about to pull the trigger but those handles are so flimsy in the hand, too long in the hand and too short to go over a coat, I was hugely disappointed and like you I walked away

I saw that with Kellys. I saw a retourne Togo a year old or so and it did not strike me like the vintage ones. ( is 90's considered vintage?) about CHANEL though, I have a classic bought in 2010 and I can t see a difference in quality with my vintage one.

Arrggghhhh! The dresses at Garnet Hill are haunting me! Today at swimming, I was talking about tPF and this cool thread and one of my swimmer friends said, "I hate shopping and so if I see something I like I get it. So you should get it."

Oh how I wish I hated shopping!

And tonight, my dear friend, also a swimmer, sent a text "I'm looking at the Garnet Hill catalog. Which dress is it?". And when I told her and she responded "it's super cute" I waved my arms in the air.

But.... I have not visited the Garnet Hill site..... yet:nogood:

resisted (barely) a pre-owned Balenciaga City today! I regretted it for a while, but now that its been a few hours I am so proud of myself and know I made the right choice. Seriously, thinking about this thread made me feel better :)

I walked away from a Coach that I was eyeing and waited for to go on sale. Have to be good! I saw it in person for the first time, and on sale at 40% off!! Have to be good! Saving up for a trip with girlfriends I haven't seen in years. Have to be good!

Glad this thread is helping to remind us to back away from something we maybe didn't really want.

I did not buy the gorgeous silver earrings from a local designer last night - but I DID buy a scarf for 30% off, I'd been needing a new winter scarf for a while.

Also didn't buy the pretty fringed leather bag by Cut-N-Paste (Los Angeles company) - no use for that size of bag but the FRINGE! SO so cool! NO NO NO.

:sunshine: <--- if I post that enough, Spring will come earlier
