I returns a Kate Spade tote I was on the fence about. I also resisted buying more that day and another the day I returned it. (They had a huge KS shipment)
I resisted getting a Chanel flap (too small and the lambskin too delicate) and a Chanel GST (straps suck), even though I had considered these my HG bags. Found one that fits me and my lifestyle better so I'm focusing on that.
Resisted trying on the Hermes Evelyn, and jypserie because they too don't fit my daily bag criteria. I resisted the garden party because at that price I don't want uncoated canvas.
Resisted a pretty good deal on MbMJ bags the last time I went to NR to buy flats.
I really want to focus. I want certain items and getting other items keeps me away from what I really want. Then to deal with the hassle of selling/giving away, I'd rather hold off and get the one I've been wanting.
Too bad it took me awhile to learn that lesson lol.

I saw this medium croc-embossed Antigona at a local consignment store for only $700+, and I loved it. I kept putting it on hold, then calling back to say never mind, etc. that I'm pretty sure the manager knows me now! But I had been saving for a pre-owned Chanel flap and I knew that I didn't have enough money for both. Now that I have my flap, I'm SO glad I resisted the ant! I loved it and knew the price was tempting, but I really don't carry all that much and the medium sized ant would have been too large anyway. (But the mini yellow one that's just been released is a whole other story .... 😜

In the last two sales I've had the Dorset tote in burnt peach and oak in my cart but managed to keep my credit card in my wallet.
Another good duck was an MK tote and a Longchamp Roseau at the NK summer sale in Stockholm last year. They were 40% off and I was seriously thinking about buying them both - add to that the Mulberry boutique 10 meters away with an Alexa for -40% and spell disaster on my bank account. In the end, I bought a Longchamp coin purse and a DvF USB drive to give myself a good vibe about things. Because I saved so much money with just the two items I bought, I didn't feel the need to "save" even more...

OOH! Just remembered. I walked away from a fushia Longchamp Le Pilage. Wanted it because it is a gorgeous color. And it matched my ferragamos.

I'm tempted by the lagoon color they have. I absolutely love that color, when I spotted it, that color was on my nails!

You can do it! It gets easier...until sale time/New season bags come out.
Recently I resisted:
-last season le pliages on sale-mostly because they didn't have the color/size combo I wanted, and I didn't want to settle
-New seasonal pliage in lagoon-I will try to have enough willpower to wait for a sale
-various Coach Boroughs. I ordered the vachetta this week-my first bag in 6 months but pretty much every other Borough has been tempting me since they were released. The red glove tanned is the current one I'm trying to resist.
This one?!!!??! It's gorgeous! I love the color! If I walked past this piece of gorgeousness on sale, I'd probably not be able to resist. But - I probably could. It's the color! My eyes! BEAUTY!

That's the one! I don't have a red bag anymore which makes it especially tempting. I love bright reds.
