Hi all, I recently bought Montsouris pm backback and find it really hard to get the stuff out as compared to my cross body bags. If I go for shopping, I literally has to put my bag down to open it. How do you use your backpack. Do you carry on one shoulder or both. I know I may sound silly but I am struggling to use the backpack for everyday life.

I can see what you mean. But I also find myself taking a crossbody on and off several times throughout the day. I also have the Montsouris but haven't used it very often, but am anticipating taking it on and off. It's such a great bag that I think it's worth it!

I think it's meant to be worn on both shoulders so you can be hands free. At least, how I usually wear backpacks. Otherwise, it's really not anymore convenient than a cross shoulder/ open tote.

I’m in the club now with my vintage Montsouris mini from 1999. Took a year to find it and a week of meticulous cleaning and conditioning to get the bag looking this nice. It had water stains and scratches but luckily no tears or cracks. Condition wait 12 hours clean with saddle soap, 12 hour wait, condition, 12 hour wait, then magic eraser all the vachetta and conditioner again. Repeat until desired shade achieved. Canvas cleaned with armor all vinyl protecting wipes.

Beautiful. Do you have any before pictures? I’m on the hunt for a preloaded mm and would love to find one where a good cleaning is all that is needed and not replacing all the vachetta
