Well my Montsouris GM backpack came back from a $384 repair.... I am totally disappointed in their lack of attention to details. I can overlook the black marks on my straps that it came back with but I am having a hard time overlooking that they left me with a crooked pattern on the bottom back. Originally it had 6 tips of the flowers on the bottom by the leather (I believe all vintage ones had perfectly aligned patterns showing the tips) now I have only 4 showing. I am so sad because this could have been avoided had the specialist took the time align it. The bag just looks fake to me now. I am not sure what my options are because I don't think they can re do this again without compromising the canvas. View attachment 3772780View attachment 3772781

I see this post is from July, but I just wanted to say that I completely understand. I don't know if you have gone back to them or what they have said to you since, but this situation happened to me as well. When I complained and we started looking at my vintage bag which was in perfect condition prior to getting the leather redone, we saw the craftsman re-punctured holes and cracked my canvas in the making! There was a lot of glue as well. My moral to the story is, you may not want to go through tedious task of telling them they messed up.

You guys! I had no intention of purchasing a back pack. But today after exhausting my wish list (artsy vs berri mm vs melie) and realizing none of them function for me, I fell in love with the functionality of the SPERONE. I didn't even know the name of this bag. Its so comfortable [emoji173][emoji173] and the front pocket is perfect for phone keys and mini pouchette while the interior compartment has plenty of storage for my son's items (he's 2) and my soon to be new baby due June 1st. I can't believe I bought this honestly just becuase I was dead set on a mono hobo. But I couldn't leave it behind. I can't believe I spent 2k on a backpack... but it was just so perfect it was worth it. I'm mostly shocked I bought another item in DA as I have the speedy b 30 in da and felt one da piece was enough. ...View attachment 3653118 I love mono.View attachment 3653116

Is it easy to keep clean? How far end does the exterior pocket go in? Does it hold a lot? I currently carry Totally MM. Thank you!

Easy to keep clean? Not sure what you mean by that as the inside is dark maroon microfiber material and the outside has minimal vachetta mainly canvas which is very easy to clean. As far as what fits inside it would depend really as you wouldn’t want to make it too heavy and it’s really not that big at all actually it is quite petite I’d say. It is only like 3 inches in depth so unless you plan on having stuff on top of stuff really It will carry what you will need. As a carrier of mainly MM size bags definitely cannot carry everything that is in my big bags. And it is definitely no where near the size of any MM bag. The pocket in the front can really only hold a cles or regular iPhone and not together it would have to be one or the other. The pocket in the inside is almost the length of the bag which is nice. Would consider this a small bag used when you want to be hands free definitely great for Friday’s and weekends when out shopping or running errands. Very convenient during those times. Hope that helps.

Does anyone have any views for the Louis Vuitton Sorbonne backpack.

I’m really leaning towards it as finding it really difficult to find carry a bag with essentials with a 14 month old who refuses to sit in a pushchair :)

I bought a neverfull but I’m now selling that unused as I know it is not going to be practical.

It’s a lot of money for a backpack personally but I can’t really bring myself to carrying something else.

It seems small enough to be stylish and large enough to carry just the essentials for me and baby. And being a backpack I’m assuming that should easier to carry than a baby bag and a small crossbody and fun after a baby!

Thanks for the help.

Hi!
I’m seriously considering this backpack. I think it’s just adorable! I’m usually not a backpack person but I’m drawn to it for some reason. How are you liking yours? Do you find it very useful for everyday or mainly for travel?
Thanks!!
