@anika913, my friend got GM and came with a dust bag. She used my SA. I'm picking up desk cover and I'm sure my SA will include a dust bag.. Honestly I think it depends on the effort and care of the SA. You could ask for one from another SA?
yeah thats what I thought too. i went to another SA when I purchased the MM. I first got the GM online without a dust bag. My SA told me that they don't issue one for it anymore so was surprised when I saw they had one for the MM.

I purchased from LV boutique and received a dust bag as well. I wonder if it's because of the pandemic? That's super odd not to receive one .

This happened to me as well, pre-pandemic. The first desk agenda cover I ever purchased was at the NYC 5th Avenue store so of course they had one.

The second agenda I picked up (this time, a large agenda), I did so at a store that isn't terribly big. There was no dust bag and when I asked about it, the SA quickly said that they don't have any and put an end to the discussion. I mean, it's a dust bag! We're paying a hefty sum for these agendas, relatively speaking, and I thought that wasn't terribly customer-friendly-centric of her.

A year later when I was at a much bigger LV store purchasing a handbag, I mentioned this and that SA said that some of the smaller stores simply don't get as much product. She then offered me one, which I really appreciated (and of course took).

The third time I bought an agenda (I like agendas, lol), it was from that same smaller second store, and this time there was a dust bag.

So to me it sounds in part like the size of store and how much that store gets in product matters. But it also seems to me that how much your SA cares to push for it for you also matters. I mean, if there isn't one when you buy it, but you really want one, that smaller store should eventually get some, right? And that SA could reach out to you?

I recently purchased an agenda from Fashionphile (I guess I really like agendas  ) and that came with a small Fashionphile dust bag, so at worst, I guess you could always buy one from them, even though I know it's not the same. I assume it's this $5 one, but don't quote me on that -- https://www.fashionphile.com/p/fashionphile-wallet-dust-bag-150575

Reading your post gave me a laugh. You do like agendas:biggrin: i got the GM through my SA which he must have gotten from the online stock, i’m not sure.. maybe they did have limited dust bags back then but it’s still not acceptable given the hefty price that we’re paying for them. The MM i purchased from the Maison store which I believe is the largest here in Sydney so that must be a factor.
Although I love purchasing online because of the anticipation prior to receiving delivery and the actual unboxing. Also I get to have the classic paper receipt instead of the thermal one that they issue in store, I’d probably purchase an agenda if I’d still need one in the future in store.

Question for agenda owners, I have the MM in Taiga and the GM in Epi and I think I’m fairing towards the GM more.....

I’m thinking of releasing my MM and GM in Epi into the wild and getting an pre-loved GM in Taiga.

Thoughts?

You don't like your current collection? If anything I would add, not sell. I find different years I have to use different sizes so good to have a variety.

Just adding on to the dust bag conversation...I purchased a PM agenda and a scarf last week in a boutique...the scarf was thrown a small bag and the agenda, in a box--no ribbon or dust bag, just a piece of packaging material in the agenda. I didn't check packaging earlier, but was disappointed when I got home.
I had purchased 2 agendas (yes, I know--I that is another issue), with dust bags.
I really feel like asking for one...these are cheap...but at the same time, I'm trying to limit my time going into malls.

Thanks for reading my mini rant.

I wanted to share.

I love my multicolor GM agenda, but didn’t use it as much as I would have liked because I was afraid of ruining the vachetta or damaging the canvas. I tried to use it as a journal, but worried about the agenda rubbing against my desk.

Recently I found a clear cover that fits the agenda and has openings for the snap. It doesn’t have an opening for the pen loop, but that doesn’t bother me (although it would be fairly easy to cut an opening for it.

It’s not quite a perfect fit. It’s a little tall, but I dont mind since it adds a little more protection to the edges.

It also doesn’t cover the pockets so you can still use them!

I also got this adorable pouch to keep it in so I can give the dust bag a break!

Maybe bring your entire purchase the next time you visit the mall and tell them that they failed to give you a dust bag? To your point, it’s cheap and should be part of the package..
