My monogram mm welcomed a big sister today. I didn’t think I would ever purchase something in damier graphite before, but after getting the desk agenda in monogram originally and finding that too matchy matchy with what I already have, I took my husbands suggestion and exchanged it for this pattern and am loving the choice! View attachment 5060219
Good choice! I love my Damier Graphite.

So I didn't realize how expensive planning CAN be....

My friend got me into planning, and partially my work has been getting crazy. So I just got MM size to switch from PM size. I'm not into crazy customization because MM will serve strictly utilitarian purpose of work and life appointments/due dates.

But I like minimalist templates and can't use just any inserts(some drive me crazy). Paper & Cloth sells daily 30 pages at a time and price seems to be similar across the board? I can see why people print and punch their own. But now I'm feeling like I need to buy my own punch, cutter and maybe printer on top of my agenda. And as a minimalist.. This is a bit of a nightmare.

I'm sure I'll love it in the end, but it's certainly overwhelming.

Looking for some advice from all my LV lovers. Has anyone used the desk agenda or the agenda GM as a journal instead of a traditional agenda/planner?

I’m huge into art journaling/keeping a diary and would love to use either as a journal of sorts. I’m so torn between either one and not sure which to purchase.

Has anyone used it as a journal/diary that can give me some insight? I’m leaning more towards getting the desk agenda in mono so I can add a notebook.

I’d love to hear your thoughts/ check out your journal/diary setup ☺️

Yes, I decided to keep it. Now I’m trying to get used to rings again. I like the GM but not loving it. I love the desk agenda using the disc system. I have rings in my pm but I don’t switch anything out since I use monthly inserts. I only switch out once a year but with the GM it is every month. I’m sure I’ll get used to it in time.
I am still figuring out the best agenda size to use. I am currently using an A5, trying to switch to MM as I find the large one to heavy to carry even when changing places to write on at home. I have some PM inserts which I may try to use to use too maybe for some random writing/lists that I can slip into my bag.

I don’t have a desk agenda and currently use a large/A5 planner. I have a notebook which does not have a cover but can fit in desk agenda for sure.
I use my A5 inserts for my monthly/weekly planning while my notebook for taking down notes when I attend webinars, etc.
The desk agenda may be your best bet for journaling if you prefer a notebook. If you decide to us it with inserts, you can always use the discbound system.
