YES to glowing skin! I haven’t worn makeup for nearly two months and my skin is looking better than ever. No commute stress and no general life stress since we have all slowed down. Hoping that this pace will stay even after life creeps back to normalcy.

I’ve gotten SLG crazy lately. The agenda is the one I’m most looking forward to! I’ve already bought dividers, clear inserts, cute bow and Pom paper clips... looking forward to the fun when the agenda arrives :P

@DrTr I imagine a cute little old craftsman shuffling back to quietly get the supplies for our agendas and carefully create our special beauties. I’m really excited to receive something custom and so thrilled to have a place to nerd-out about it!
I felt the agenda has been neglected and forgotten. Smart phones and apps have replaced the need for one. However, I still need the little black book to keep all the passwords, gosh, I have several pages of them. Price wise, it is still worthwhile to get one now, as it’s being used daily. Every year I get excited looking forward to new refills and some reminder stickers.

Yes, our skin loves make up free doesn’t it! Good for the skin, good for the wallet :P

I like your description of our agenda creation. I have gotten two other custom pieces so far, my matching mini pochette, and a Worldtour monogram NF with black leather, red interior and one sticker - a Shiba dog as you had to do one and I’m a dog lover. Those two pieces were both made in France and were totally perfect. It was so worth the extra $$ and the extra wait for the custom pieces I love. So hopefully ours will arrive the same way!!

Sounds like you went about as crazy as I did this weekend buying lots of agenda items. Can’t wait to see pics, and some of my stuff gets delivered today! So glad you started this thread

I’ve played around with creating a world tour neo noe... So many options! There’s definitely something special about an item made just for you!

I’ll post everything once the agenda arrives. Looking forward to seeing yours right around the same time

Ive tried for so long now to just live off of the phone but it’s just not practical for how my brain works. I forget too much - enter note in phone and forget completely, my phone is also for work and can’t tell in monthly overview what’s my appointment and what’s for work... I’m young enough that I should be able to live in the phone but old enough to remember keeping an agenda before smartphones took over).

Plus, the cuteness factor of the agenda is a big incentive :P

My phone has all the work and personal appointments. A large non LV agenda for work, meeting notes, I write everything down and I have records going all the way back...many years. Agenda PM is tracking my boys’ and personal appointments which usually I have to write down. A good friend says it’s crazy dealing with two but works for me. I don’t want to be writing my passwords etc in my office organiser, which I usually leave in my room at work.

Now that I have gone into journaling, I have a journal to capture the moments of family events where I include photos with a bit of my painting etc. Also started an art journal for a river cruise with my mom from Paris to Nice with an extension to Monte Carlo just last Sept before all this craziness. Of course we were shocked knowing that the virus started as early as Sept in France.

Would love to order Mon Monogram piece but too bad, it isn’t available on our local online site. It would be exciting to receive a customized item.

I’m with you both! I love paper agendas still, am a tech whiz, and could, but just don’t prefer running my life from my phone. I use it for plenty, but like you both I like writing on nice paper with nice writing utensils (and it’s proven that writing things with pen/pencil on paper is still a better way to learn and retain, especially in cursive script) all my important things. And nvie, my refill too every year is fun and so clean and crisp! Here’s to old school for modern women!!!:hugs:

It sounds lovely how you journal with photos and painting and art, making family memories. Wow what a wonderful cruise that sounds with your mom! I know, it’s strange to hear how early this virus was creeping around in the world. Yikes. I miss travel, am so hoping it’s available sooner again than most of us think.

What a bummer for you, it is fun to create exactly what you want. I feel lucky in the US that so much is available online as the nearest LV to me is a 4 hour drive. And who knows what luxury business models will be like moving forward. I think lots of us might change some things, like just exactly how many clothes do I really need for work? And so on. I’m still a bag junkie, but I’m not buying as many until I know I can safely use nice bags again in the world. But agendas, journals, pens etc. I can use right now. So onward!

Talking about pens, I’ve found a new love after discovering Caran d’Ache, Swiss brand. Montblanc Ballpoint isn’t as nice as Caran d’Ache and their Paul Smith collection drives me nuts. I wonder if I love the pen case more than the pen itself. Sorry to deviate from the topic

It is a wonderful one with my mom, now with this going on, cruise companies are heading towards bankruptcy and not sure whether there will be such a thing in the future. Such a memorable one, Provence is beautiful!

Thinking of getting on a flight short or long haul scares me..especially with the crowd etc. Happy to stay home for now. Don’t think we’ll be traveling in the next 6 months.

I will have to check out Caran pens - no deviation! Agendas, supplies etc all fair game :P

Yes, I’m just fine not flying anywhere for a long while. Too much virus still spreading esp in the US, and not enough people here seem to believe they should wear a mask and actually help others. I find it very disheartening. So glad you and your mom had such a lovely experience last year.

my plan is mostly at home, out only when necessary anywhere other than my own backyard!

if you treat yourself to a new pen or case we want pics :P

Sharing my love for Caran d’Ache 849 pens...except for one fountain pen, that comes in a paper box whereas the rest are metal cases with magnetic closure.

They don’t fit in the Agenda PM, only my large organiser for work. I wish LV could make the pen holder larger to fit these standard sized pens.
