Last week, my SA told me that the Favorite would not be restocked. She said this is a sign that it will be discontinued but wasn't 100% sure
When I bought mine on the LV website today it said 'call for availability '. I probably shouldn't have bought one with the creasing problems but it's my birthday and I've been waiting to get one. I got one in Azur and my sale went through.

it seems like lv get rid of the "cheaper" (canvas) bags to introduce newer more expensive expensive (canvas) bags. It already started with croissants, Brittany, one handle any many more ..... Also smaller canvas bags which have a high price.. in this ways they don't have to increase the bags anymore... eva will be also discontinued very soon and they will release newer crossbody canvas bags .. I'm curious how they will look and cost

I wouldn't worry too much. There's still a healthy supply in stores so I'm sure the availability is still high (my local LV had 7 monogram MM bags as well as other prints and sizes). I think you can wait until May/June.

My new Azur PM arrived today and the date code is SD0117.
This is good news, they are still making these bags so I doubt they are discontinuing them. When they discontinue they won't produce any new bags and sell off their old inventory with past date codes.

I don't see them discontinuing the favorite. It is a high price point for the little amount of canvas used. As we can see the cost is 985 USD for a favorite MM-- and Speedy 35 is 990 USD. A five dollar difference and obviously a speedy 35 has way more canvas.
It is quite a popular purse, and holds it value. If anything, LV may raise the price yet again.

I got the strap to work but wonder why LV only gives us 1 buckle instead of 2.
Marc Jacobs left in 2014 and since then there have been lots of problems with the LV bags. It seems that quality was better when he was in charge.
