Mine is also from 2015 (42nd week) and so far it looks good.. I think the older bags with this creasing problem couldn't pull the flap to the top only like this for example View attachment 3580333 And the newer ones without the creasing problem can pull the flap to the top like this: View attachment 3580334 hard to explain in English haha.. i hope you know what i mean.. I heard something like this as someone explained it here in pf. But I don't know if this is true

Hi ladies, for my case I brought in the Favourite to the store and the SA that I deal with only allow me to do 1 to 1 replacement even I have requested for credit and show my interest to top up for a pochette Metis. I told them I am really concern that the same issue will happen in future. The SA reply this is the first time we received such complain at this branch. For this time we do one on one exchange with you. If the same issue happen again maybe you can opt for credit. I ask the SA what is the issue with the bag they tell me they don't know for they are not the QR department. I am so disappointed with their service. However I am glad that I have my Favourite replace... Let's see will the same issue happens again. Cross my fingers.

The old bag made in France 07 week of 2015. I got it on June 2015 and use less then 5 times. I own the bag 1 year and 4 months.

Actually LV did not replace it on my first visit in Nov 2016 to the store. During the first visit I told the SA that I wanted to file a complain for my LV bag crease. I ask the SA why this happen to my bag? SA reply "this bag is new. Why you don't use it? Normally we see issue with the bag due to client over stuff the bag. But you bag is new... Hm... I will need to take some photo and submit to QR team. You may go home now and I will contact you once QR team reply." I ask the SA how long it takes you to get a reply from QR team? They says few days to 1 week. However they only get back to me after 3 weeks.

I ask them "how do you store your bag" when I collect my new bag during the second visit. I also ask "do you put airbag inside the favourite bag?" SA says "we lay it flat in the store once we receive the it." Then I says "I did the same so can I conclude this is not cause by how the bag is storage and how the bag is used?" Then SA pause and reply "we don't keep the bag long in the store... here is your new bag".


This was my exact experience. I wish they would have just given me a credit though so I could spend it on something else (speedy b 25) I barely use my new replacement favorite pm in de because I'm scared of the crease coming back. I might end up just selling it. I'm so disappointed in their customer service because clearly it seems like the crease is a common problem.

I honestly don't think it's that common a problem. The stores are spread out across the world and we're in a forum where the issue very concentrated. There are a ton of people that won't exchange or report an issue no matter how much the product costs. I don't think we should be upset if they don't know. If need be show them pics from the forum as well...they may be more apt to give store credit versus just an even exchange. I showed some forum pics to my SA (she's been my SA for almost 7yrs) & she's never seen or heard anything about it. If more are reported, I can't see LV not doing anything about it. And no I don't have a crease in my year old Favorite but I have had an issue with one of my Neverfulls and they corrected the situation.

It could just be the SA's I have where I live then. They're not the nicest. I had a nice SA for almost 6 years til she quit. When I showed them the forums they got all snobby and gave me attitude and made it like I should be grateful they even considered a replacement favorite for me.

Oh wow...that's terrible! I'm sorry you had a bad experience. It's definitely not like that everywhere.
