I don´t know whether it will be discontinued or not, but maybe a reason for this could be the ongoing issue with the crease? Maybe they had too many returns because of that?I was told by a Store Manager that the Favorite is no longer being produced and once the current stock sells through - that will be it.
I was thinking the same thing. I don't think the crease issue in the MM size has been fully resolved so that may be the reason for discontinuing the bag. In normal lighting, the flap on my MM looks fine but this is how it looks at an angle...I don´t know whether it will be discontinued or not, but maybe a reason for this could be the ongoing issue with the crease? Anyway it would be a shame as it´s a great smaller bag.
Ugh! I am so sorry to see your bag like this ... I was hoping it was resolved. I just bought an Azur MM 2017I was thinking the same thing. The "crease" is higher than the flawed bags from 2014/2015 but I can see it becoming more pronounced in the future. My date code is SD0137.

You're right, it's a beautiful bag but it's very high maintenance. I've never had to baby any bag so much...it almost feels like owning a dog. I've owned a DE MM and DA MM in the past and both had creasing issues. Sold them. I only purchased the MM monogram because I thought the issue was resolved. The PM size seems to be fine now but not the MM. I wish they would have redesigned the flap support to extend all the way to the top of the flap but I'm no bag designer so who knows if that would have worked.Damn. I had mine exchanged last year for the creasing, hoping the issue would have been resolved. I may just have to sell mine cause this bag is a hassle now. I have used it once and I worried so much when I used it, then the stuffing and protecting the flap from the magnet and standing it up properly. Just too much work for this bag, prob why I don't reach for it much. Sad because it's such a pretty bag.

Good luck with your bag...hopefully it's ok.
I was just thinking the same thing! I'm just gonna enjoy my beautiful bag and not worry about what might beIt's the luck of the draw ladies. These bags are handmade & stuffed in drawers until someone buys them. No crease issues here & I carry my Favorite MM often. I don't baby bags nor do I worry about them because they're inanimate objects. I think we tend to overemphasize these types of things because we're in a forum. We are just over 3200 posts in this thread & even though most of these posts are just sharing the beauty of the bag or responses to other posts, we think we have a pandemic. People even go as far as to get upset with LV CS or their SA for not knowing of this "widespread" issue. I just don't get it! To each their own though. My motto is "if it's going to drive me crazy, I need to find another option". Why keep ripping off a bandaid when I think it's going to hurt? Anyway...Enjoy your bags & try not to worry[emoji5][emoji162]

It's awesome that you have no issues with your bag. However, having owned 3 Favorite MM's, two of which that developed creases (that I didn't even post on the forum), the statistics seem to lean towards more of an "issue" and less having to do with "luck" (unless I'm the unluckiest girl in the world!). From searching on the pre-loved market over the past year, there have been numerous listings of Favorites w/creases. It may be that many seem to think it's "regular wear and tear" so they don't make a big deal over it.It's the luck of the draw ladies. I DO enjoy my Favorites...that's why I have 2 PMs and 1 MM. And I'm actually happy that the ladies on the forum have in depth discussions on issues like this. I don't think we lose sleep and are "driven crazy" over flaws (at least I don't!) but different people make a bigger deal of some flaws than others. The discussions make us wiser consumers when we share this information.
Pleeeasssse Nooooo!!!! No offense taken at all...I just responded because you quoted me. They're many on here than think just like you do and some that think differently but I have no problem with anyone expressing differences. There was nothing at all offensive about your post and I hope you didn't see mine as being an attack. It's all purse-love!Seems like I hit a nerve, so my apologies if you took my post personally. That was not my intention. My post was just to say we're online looking at these things, which is why we notice them. One person may see a defect and another may not have seen anything. I also said "to each their own" meaning we all look at things differently. The bags are handmade, so it may be the luck of the draw. I have several pair of Danskos, which are also handmade. Each of them are the same size but fit differently. It's a different take on what we often see here in these forums. That's all...nothing more[emoji18]
