I honestly don't think the way it's stored has anything to do with the crease issue. I think it may be a manufacturing defect that happens randomly. My bag hasn't been stored in any special way. Heck it's been packed in a suitcase a million times due to my 3-4 day travel schedule. I do put my bags in a dust bag but not because I think something will happen to them, but because I don't want a zillion dust bags just lying around.
I purchased my Azur MM back in March I believe. No creases. The only thing is a tiny little wave on the right hand edge that's been there since the first week I think. I tried to take a picture but you cannot see it at all. It's a small little dip, less than half an inch.
I store it like this, stuffed with the paper it came with and a piece of styrofoam packing under the flap. In the bottom section of the LV box; no top.

Thank you so much for the information.......finally I got a favorite MM in DE. I went to 3 LV boutiques in my city, and compared several bags, and got this baby having stronger magnet and proper pleats on the two sides with no visible flaws...but other bags all have some problem this or that..... I also bought a Helene wallet exclusively for my new "favorite"...the helene is so tiny and perfect for Favorite MM...instead, I can also use the empreinte compact curieuse wallet. Love them all but favorite is my real "favorite" at this moment.

Hmmm this is interesting. I had a slight crease and couldn't figure out why. I thought it was from the magnet being too strong and pulling on the flap in an empty bag during storage. I got mine exchanged after almost a year. I store my new one differently now. I hope that if it's a defect the batch I got now is ok. This is too expensive a bag to develop this kind of problem! It totally ruins the bag imo.

If it become worse I will go to LV and ask what they can do
I agree it shouldn't happen and I honestly think it's a manufacturing defect. My magnet is pretty strong, as it should be. Glad they replaced it for you[emoji5]

I haven't gone yet. Was too busy yesterday and too much rain today. Will go next weekend. Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I'm almost positive I will have the option of exchanging or store credit.
I was going on vacation to Italy and planned to buy Favorite PM in DE there. I called 3 shops in area of 150 km and none of them has it! How could that happen? Actually, one of them had it, I wanted to go there even it was 150 km away from my hotel, called them to make reservation, they took my name and everything was fine. Just before trip to that store, I called again to make sure it was still on reservation and they said it is sold!! Can't believe that LV has so poor service. I didn't think it would be so hard to find that bag.
