The dreaded crease happened to my Monogram Favorite MM. I bought it last year 2/15 (MIF 12/14). I kept it stuffed with air pillows, in its dust bag, upright. So from reading other posts, the crease isn't from opening the bag cause I never used mine. Nor is it normal wear and tear. When I took it out to use recently, I saw the crease. I took it to LV and was able to exchange it (I was also offered credit towards something else). They called it defective. My new Favorite MM is made in USA (4/16) and the magnet is definitely not as strong as my previous one ( I had two to choose from). Let's hope the crease doesn't appear on this new one.

Oh dear .. This is bad!!
I really love using my Favorite PM ever since I started using since last week. It is light and easy to wear it out for my Friday or weekend. Hope the crease will not appear so fast. I been reading posts here that crease seems to happen to many users here. [emoji33]
Luckily you are able to exchange it a new piece and hope the cease problem won't be back for you this time.
That's what I did! Bought the favorite mm and returned it for the pochette and am happy I did. The pochette was a much better bag for what I wanted/needed and no worries about magnets or creases!
I still love the favorite but I'll admire it on others!
You sound like u did everything right with storing. I do the same but I put bubble wrap between the magnet and the flap to stop the magnet from pulling on the flap during storage. May I suggest u do this as it may add an extra layer of prevention of that awful crease. I hope u don't mind me suggesting this. I think it will help.
Hello Gan, yes, I 'm glad I was able to exchange it, it was 15 months when I purchased it and was a little worried LV wouldn't do anything. I too hope the crease doesn't happen with this bag. I will be storing it differently for sure.
Hi ChiChi143, LV fixed the creasing problem by letting me exchange for a new bag. I don't think the purse can be fixed, which is why they let me exchange it rather than sending it out for repair. It was shown to the repair people though.
Hi Kitty157, I appreciate your input, and don't mind your suggestion at all. That's one of the reasons I love this forum, it can be so helpful. The SA let me have the dust bag from my damaged favorite and I folded it up and put it between the flap as soon as I got home
Never heard of the crease problem until now, and now I am staring at my de favorite mm thinking what I should do about it. I don't wear my favorite mm often cause I have other similar size cross body that I find more convenient.... But now I think I am going to use it as often as possible, squeeze out the fun before any crease puts an end to it!
I took my Favorite MM back to a store, hoping to have it exchanged as the crease is very obvious. The Manager wasn't there to make a decision - I really feel this should not happen to a bag of this price! I hope to hear back tomorrow [emoji51]
The Manager called me today and has offered me a credit or exchange due to the Favorite having quality issues with the magnet. She couldn't guarantee the crease wouldn't happen again[emoji20] I love this bag but don't want it to happen again! Might ask for the credit [emoji51]

Glad they took care of you! My DE was warped on the flap and it wasn't from the magnet. It was very strange as it was 2 months old and barely used. I took the credit, I was too worried it would happen again.
