I've used both for both casual and semi formal events. I think they both look fine for either occasions.
I have the mm in mono and I have used it for dressy and casual. Love it for dressy. Love to wear it as a clutch. I'm 5'8 and at a size 12, also a curvy chick. I bought a long gold chain from eBay to wear it when I go out dancing with the girls.

It's been fun reading through this thread and seeing all the beautiful photos of the Favorite. I have been thinking of this handbag for a while. Since I am 5' tall, would the MM be too large? I am concerned that proportionally, it will look to large as a clutch/crossbody on me. The PM could work but I would have to downsize to a smaller wallet which shouldn't be a problem. Just debating if I go with the MM for more room....thanks for your thoughts on this!

Im also 5' and tried both pm and mm.
Pm looks perfectly cute on clutch and mm looks perfect when I crossbody. Mm doesnt look like a mini/small bag but looks smaller than any other messenger bag, so i liked it.
It depends on your purpose of getting this bag and your essentials. Good luck on deciding.
