Yeah, I'd def get another SA, too! She doesn't seem to be in the know and sounds a bit condescending! If I pay so much for a bag, things should be quality and have some quality backing! Even if that means changing the plate that scratches easily free of charge!

Here in Singapore replacement of the gold plate is free also.

Could it be location specific? I'm in CA, US and several SA don't know that LV is providing free plate replacement. They all told me they don't offer it that I will have to pay for it.

So I had an Eva, sold it, kept the strap, and loved it on the favorite. The strap is pretty dark and my favorite is so light since I've only got it in February. I asked my SA if I could get a replacement Eva strap and it's only $105!!! I don't know if it's because I already had the Eva or if this is something anyone can get. It definitely makes the crossbody better for fall and winter when I start wearing sweaters and coats [emoji6]

I was at LV today in NYC and ordered the Eva strap for $105 for my favorite MM and the Montaigne strap for $210 so I can wear my Pochette Metis as a shorter shoulder bag. They said I'll have them in 2 weeks. I'm excited because my favorite is brand new and I don't like the strap.

Same here! It's just too short with the strap it came with. I am thinking about getting a pochette Metis as well since I have the Metis hobo and will have to keep that in mind! Crazy how the straps cost so much unless you order as a replacement!

Yes I'm 5 ft 4 and it's too short plus I don't like that u have to feed it through. I love the Metis Hobo. Gorgeous bag!

+ 1. My SA allowed me to order the DE and DA replacement straps from the Eva to be used on my Favorites. I do wear wool coats in the winter so the longer straps will work out fine. I also ordered a replacement strap from the Hoxton to be used with my Favorite MM (Monogram and DE) and I love it. The strap is a tad bit thicker and is adjustable.
