Nah. Either go for the real thing, whatever it may be, or choose something else entirely. This is not design, this is imitation, and it seems obvious that the intention of this manufacturer is that his bags be mistaken for Hermes. Legal though they may be, I agree with Nikki. Not cool.

When you think about it, how many ladies can afford a contemporary designer bag ?

TPF is a microcosm.
Some women are in love with a design, they won't pretend they carry the real thing, they will just be happy to wear a lovely bag without spending what would represent one year's salary or more....in most places in the world.
Carrying a counterfeit is illegal in my country, carrying a copy is not.

to each his/her own. esp since sometimes, i feel that certain brands raise prices with no apparent reason (not increase in quality, not increase in craftsman salary, not increase in raw material costs) but simply because they can...
i don't care much if someone cares a teddy blake around me or not. as long as they are not carrying a counterfeit which i feel is wrong (as i feel it is pretending to be something that is not). teddy blake or other copies do not print "hermes" on it...and thus, is just a copy. i highly doubt that teddy blake takes away from hermes sales either as someone that will buy a teddy blake would probably never by a hermes birkin (either because cannot afford or it is not their value system to purchase such an expensive bag).
anyway, don't let these things bother you. a lot of times, you carry the hermes for yourself. don't let what other's buy diminish your happiness or anything

I'm a firm believer that if you cannot afford the real thing then buy another type of bag. Don't resort to counterfeits or replicas and try to pass them off. As for the "designer" he needs to actually design something and not copy someone else's work.
