FWIW, I hope she’s happy with him. I mean.. we’re about to get a whole album of what we can assume is already break up material from her long term bf.

It’s weird, as someone with curly and unruly hair, because people on one hand say “rock what your mama gave you” but when it isn’t straight and flowy, then they turn around and say “man, your hair is a mess, do something with it” or your roots are gross etc. This thread is the perfect example.
I have a friend who straightens and then curls her naturally curly hair because of all the drama it causes and I suspect that is what Blake does. And that’s bananas (when you aren’t a celebrity, I guess).

I imagine she is human like all of us and would like the relationship to work...not just use it for material....GL to them
Of course, like most marriages these days if they do marry, it will probably not be a permanent thing

I have a theory that straight hair is much easier to take care of and make look “ok”, whereas curly hair is a lot more work, but can look super amazing when it’s done well.
This is dead on. It’s basically an unruly toddler 99% of the time but there is this one moment, when the humidity is right, you could use a diffuser and got just the right amount of gel into it at just the right moment with just the right amount of water saturation and there was no wind and you showered with your sweater on so you didn’t have to pull it over your head and you got it cut more than two weeks ago so it is no longer grumpy about the curl being disturbed but it isn’t so long as to have split ends and random long parts sticking up and no one has hugged you and it is perfection. And usually it happens on a Sunday when no one else is around and the only place you had planned to go was the grocery store… And then you walk though the sliding doors and there is that gust of air that they produce annnddd, it looks like you stuck your finger in a live socket
Taylor seems to be in her "**** it, I'm having fun" era. She is loving be out doing the tour, she's having fun with Travis. She hasn't seemed so "carefree" so to speak in a long time, since before she peaced out to London following 1989. She's 34 now, a billionaire so screw it...lol.

I have to wonder if Taylor will be one of those women who ends up wildly successful and has everything in the world except being able to maintain a successful, long-term relationship/marriage. Maybe her picker is broken?
I think once you reach that level of success, especially as a woman, relationships become a real challenge. Travis seems like typical male with a delicate ego. Unless he’s cool with being in her shadow or Mr. Mom, he may struggle.
And that breakup album will be epic.
It must be difficult. There’s no possibility of a spontaneous connection with a stranger. Every man who gets involved with her is doing it because he knows who and what she is. The more I find out about her current beau the more I think he’s a shallow man (but perhaps she is shallow too).
Taylor has achieved fame and wealth beyond the dreams of most people. If she never finds true love, well, you can’t have everything in life. There are plenty of poor women who don’t have a soulmate either so Taylor is doing fine.
Maybe I'm in the minority here but I think that thus far (with the exception of the potential implications of Travis' outburst with Coach Reid at the SB), Travis is an excellent match for Taylor Swift. He doesn't seem to be intimidated by her, her fame, or her $$$---in fact he continually gushes about how brilliant she is and how he admires her. As for being shallow, he is hugely in the public eye so that comes with the territory but in KC he has done tons for underserved kids and for the community. He has long term friends who mean the world to him and are a part of his 'pack.' He has made mistakes in the past but has owned up to them and talked openly about how working with Coach Reid (who has had his own family tragedies and issues) has helped him. Both Taylor and Travis seem to have the same set of values---outside of their work, focusing on family, friends, and helping their communities. Of course, whether their relationship will end up in marriage or last, who knows? But at this moment in time, I'm just really happy for them both.
I hope you’re right. I’ll admit my opinion of him did a 180° turn over the weekend. After reading how he went to her concert last summer and decided he HAD to meet her, blah blah blah, he sounded less romantic and more like this guy.
